A family run bed & breakfast situated in the outskirts of Mallaig in Glasnacardoch, which lies between the picturesque villages of Morar and Mallaig on the Road to the Isles. The house is set in a secluded location with stunning views over to the islands of Rum and Eigg. Our accomodation comprises 2 double rooms and 1 twin room each with en-suite showers, tea and coffee making facilities and satellite television. Our guests have the use of a guest lounge with a wood burning stove for when the days are cooler. Guests arriving by public transport can be collected from Mallaig on request and dropped off at the railways station or ferry terminal on departure. We are open all year except for Christmas, New Year, the first 2 weeks in October and the first weekend in August when the family are involved in the Mallaig & Morar Highland Games.

Warm hosts, lovely pastoral setting with views of the sea and mountains 1 mile from Mallaig. Nick fetched us from the train...and returned us to the ferry. Good yard bird watching and breakfast as well. Recommend.

Hi Peter Many thanks for your enquiry regarding accommodation at Heatherlea. We have availability of a double or a twin room with en-suite facilities for the night of the 7th July. Our tariff is £35 per person per night bed and breakfast. If you would like to reserve the room, please email us confirmation and we will be very happy to keep the room for you. We dont ask for a deposit, we only ask for cash or cheque on departure as we don't take credit cards. If you do need to cancel then all we ask is that you give us enough notice that we might have a chance to re-let the room. We hope to hear back from you in due course. Kind regards, Nick Murray
