I was looking for somewhere to stay during myself and wife's trip on the stunning Glasgow to Mallaig rail journey I think that I may have found the best accommodation in the West Highlands. You could not receive a more warm welcome. Heather the owner is really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The place is spotless and the...

A charming B&B in a good location over looking the harbour. You can be sure of a warm welcome from a lovely host Heather. What can we say literally 'home from home' !!! The owner Heather was a fantastic host and looked after our every need - nothing to much trouble. Our bedroom was first class and whilst it only had a side view it was delightfully furnished with great shower room and even a few lovely 'tots' of whisky which was a lovely...

Heather was so welcoming and helpful! Lovely comfy room with a fantastic view over the harbour: Highland-themed soft furnishings and a wee whisky added an extra-special touch. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to a day's travelling. The ideal place to stay at the end of the West Highland Line: only a 5 minute walk from Mallaig train station.

We stayed one night in Mallaig before catching the ferry to Skye. This guest house was the perfect place. The rooms were clean and well provisioned and with a view of the harbor. The host, Heather, provided a "wee dram" in each room which we enjoyed after dinner in the guest lounge overlooking the harbor. The breakfast was very good...

Situated in a perfect spot overlooking the harbour we stayed here for 3 nights and found Heather to be incredibly accommodating. Room was spotless and bed very comfy. Breakfast was to order and cooked to perfection. I tried the kippers which are locally caught and smoked, and tasted delicious. All in all a superb weekend.

I was a "little" late down for breakfast the morning after the wedding but heather was very accommodating and even invited my friends who were waiting outside for me...

We were greeted warmly by Heather and shown to a spacious room overlooking the harbour. I particularly liked her soft furnishings featuring a highland cattle theme. All was modern and very clean. We were invited to use the conservatory sitting room which also looked out to the stunning harbour and opposite shore at Mallaig . The breakfast room was bright and...
