After extensive research in eating in hotels all over the world, IMHO there is no finer breakfast to be had than that prepared by mine host at Trasnagh House, County Down, NI. Also, beautiful views across the loch to the mountains of Morne.

Nothing but praise for this lovely bed & breakfast. The location is fantastic with stunning views over Strangford Lough and farmland to the Mountains of Mourne. We were warmly greeted by Vicky & Leslie when we arrived and as it was late Leslie immediately suggested he call for a dinner reservation for us. We were very grateful as we arrived...

Absolutely an amazing b&b.wish we had booked a longer stay. Service the best ever. Better than any top hotel. Definitely somewhere we plan to stay in again as a family. Relaxing break ,owners treated us like special guests couldn't thank them enough for the first class care given .

After catching a glimpse from the road of what we hoped would be our B & B up the hill, we were not disappointed! Knowing the area we knew that such a position would give a great view across the Lough. Not a great view a breathtaking one, although we were not touring but visiting a very elderly lady every...

This was the second time I stayed at Trasnagh with my daughter last June. Every time I wished I had booked one or two more nights. The view is stunning, the house absolutely beautiful and cozy. We had a very large room, super comfortable and spotless. Vicky and her husband are great conversation, helpful and funny. Best breakfast. You won't...

This place is the best B&B that we have ever stayed in. Vicky and Leslie were very kind lending us jackets/brollies etc. We never asked for anything as everything was perfect. Thanks again Noel & Crystal

When I first drove up to the entrance of this B&B I couldn't believe what I saw when I got out of my car - rolling hills leading down to an unbelievably beauful view of the water in the background - looked just like something that would have been on a postcard. I had the room at the front of...

Trasnagh House B&B has to be the most beautifully located b&b or indeed hotel I have ever stayed in. As one reviewer has said, it took me a while to actually head inside as I was so blown away by the stunning view. Lesley introduced himself and showed me to my room. The room was spacious and each window was...

Spent a night here for my girlfriends 23rd. The house is situated perfectly nestled on the top of a hill looking out into the breathtaking strangford lough. The view is one of the best I've seen, nothing beats waking up and gazing out onto the horizon to see a serene sunrise, nothing that is, except Leslie's huge cooked breakfast! Both...
