Very nice hotel on top of moors. The room was well decorated to a modern standard but in keeping with the old world charm of the hotel. A good selection for breakfast, and plenty of it. As this hotel is on the moors it can be very bleak in winter, but equally the position has a rugged beauty. Would recommend...

My wife and I stayed in a family room for three nights. The quality of the room was excellent, for us the beds were a little on the hard side but with the use of the spare quilts to soften they were fine. The staff are superb very attentive and extremely happy at all times. Our only criticism is the...

Fabulous well sized and stylishly decorated rooms. Great food but what made this was the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly. Lovely full Yorkshire breakfast, great range of drinks including lovely real ale

My wife booked a meal for me at the huntsman for my birthday. When we arrived the table was decorated with a banner and a card from the staff! We were pleasantly surprised that they had gone to this effort and that continued throughout our time there as they couldn't do enough for us whilst still remaining inobtrusive. Food, staff...
