This is an excellent hotel. It is in a good location l. Room was nice and quiet so got a good night sleep. Also this was very good value for money. Cost me fifty pounds for the night. There was tea and coffee in the room and a bath and shower.

If you are travelling from a distance and you want to visit Wookey Hole then this is probably the place to stay. It's also quite convenient for Wells. It's unpretentious if not a bit gaudy with all its Wookey Hole merchandising all over the place, but for us it did the job. It was a decent sized room and fairly...

Not a great hotel at all. The staff are friendly & helpful, but the hotel is not very good overall. Breakfast is poor & costs £8.50 extra. The hotel has paper thin walls & is incredibly noisy all night. The bed seems to be made of concrete, it is so hard. 2 nights here & wouldn't recommend or come back.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely ...clean and quiet through the entire stay. The food was good but a bit pricey for our expectations. .considering the rooms are such good value. The choice of beer wasn't very good, so my husband was disappointed.

The room were in (family room) was very spacious and clean. The beds were firm and had clean crisp sheets and covers. The kids' beds were very good as well. Bathroom had a very good hot shower. Breakfast slightly pricey for what it is (we chose to go to the local Wetherspoon for breakfast instead).

The location of this hotel is perfect for Wookey Hole caves and Wells city. There are other attractions close by as well. There is also free parking for residents. The staff are pleasant and the place is clean if not a little basic. My two biggest issues were firstly the sleep quality, I have to agree with earlier reviews about...

First to say the staff in the hotel are a real nice bunch. Friendly from the start. No problems there. The bed in our room was harder than diamond. Never woke up so much with a bad back and shoulders. They need to sort this or somebody will be putting a no win no fee claim in. The wookey hole...

Stayed here for one night( after walking out of pontins brean sands in disgust). We found this hotel to be clean and comfortable with pleasant, helpful staff. Also quiet even though there were children in rooms round us. Also a very reasonable price and food was good.
