We spent the weekend in the lodge and it was just what the doctor order. It was beautiful and clean inside and had everything you needed for a self catering stay. The views are lovely and the hot tub is prefect for all weather. I would highly recommend and will certainly be going back .

Homestead park is one of our favourite campsites. It's very well kept and very quiet with a nice little brook running through it! The no children policy is a bonus too. It's not far from a couple of pubs in Wookey Hole and there's a great walk across the fields into Wells, which is lovely when the weather is good!...

I have stayed at this site several times over the past few years and highly recommend it. Ideal for hikers. Surrounded by beautiful walks to suit all abilities. Well maintained with ample clean showers and toilets. Reasonable rates. Very peaceful and the sound of the stream at night soothes you to sleep. A short drive from Cheddar Gorge or the...

Adults only tents only campsite, spotless shower/loo facilities with lots of free hot water, camping by a little stream where we saw masses of dragonflies, small trout, and on one occasion a kingfisher. Very quiet, great base for exploring the surrounding area. No camp shop, and no food shop in the village, though there is a small freezer where you...

We stayed for one night and wish we'd had more time. The lady who owns the park is simply charming, paid cash on arrival. Drove through a few pretty park homes (retired residential I'm guessing) and over the little bridge to the campsite. We pitched by the trout stream which supplied white noise all night, slept like a log until...

We stayed here for one night. The camping area is very small, but this makes it very quiet. It is adults only but dogs are allowed (ideal for us!). Only tents are allowed. The camping area is situated at the bottom of the park by the small stream. The facilities were very good. Two shower/toilet blocks each consisting of two...

A very quiet adults only campsite.... perfect! Showers hot, toilets clean, no queues. No shop in the village so make sure you have supplies with you.
