Had a lovely beef baguette for lunch plenty of beef, salad and coleslaw. Made to feel welcome. Had dinner, good beers. Very large portions we had the Station Inn Pie full of meat served with plenty of chips and fresh veg. Sticky toffe pud for afters, proper Yorkshire portions, like the Yorkshire mile a bit more than normal Lovely staff....

Stayed in the Bunk barn as part of a group walking the 3 Peaks. The accommodation is very basic, but it is an ideal and idyllic location. There was plenty of hot water for a shower, although with only one shower/WC serving a bunk room with 11 beds, some queuing was inevitable. Plentiful complimentary tea & coffee and plenty of...

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the Dales Way. We arrived very wet having walked 14 miles and had the best welcome! This is a real pub with a great atmosphere and in stunning scenery. Our rooms were smallish but comfortable with everything we required. The food served for our evening meal was excellent and plentiful and appeared...

We stopped off to view the Ribblehead Viaduct on the way from Shropshire to Leyburn. The weather was "atmospheric" and we welcomed a stop at the pub for some lunch. Made most welcome by the staff. Had a great macaroni cheese with garlic bread. Elaine had the Yorkshire Pudding with beef. Both really generous portions and well cooked. And as...

Stayed here Friday and Saturday night just gone, camping in the free field at the back of the pub . Had a fantastic meal on the Saturday night and had to follow up with a full breakfast Sunday morning. If you are looking for the lap of luxury this isn't the place for you but the more time you spend...

I cancelled 6 days in advance having paid over the phone, given my son had an accident and could not continue on the pen one way - but no chance of a refund - in fact I was told that I should be smarter and taken out travel insurance, and that the owner had been stung recently on a trip...

We booked this hotel because it was An excellent location to set off for our walk and it could accommodate our party of ten. The rooms were clean and well presented for an old well used establishment. We wanted an early start and a member of staff came in early to set up continental breakfast for us. The food was...

Stayed here couple of nights in our camper van. Excellent home cooked food and friendly people just right after a walk round the three peaks. Super views of the Ribblehead viaduct. Will be back again soon.

The pub is chaotic and a bit dishevelled. It is a walkers and cyclists meeting place so you would expect it to be less than pristine. But it's grubby. accommodation was better but far from perfect. Service was haphazard, with our meal failing to be added to the room charge as we requested. The saving grace was the packed lunch...

We stayed here with friends, each in our own caravan/motorhome. Six of us ate in the pub on Friday night, we were all pleased with the food and value for money. The pub itself could do with some decorating but was ok for what we wanted. One great point is that they're happy for walkers etc to pop in and...
