I stayed with Jane and Marco at Red Roofs B&B for a few days each week over several weeks as I was working in the area. They were both incredibly welcoming and kind from the start. The rooms are beautifully furnished, very clean and the largest room has a lovely seating area and large bathroom. Jane and Marco have a...

Our hosts were very welcoming, very efficient and very helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed (though a walk-in shower would have been be a great addition to our bathroom). The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast had a wide range of options and the cooked items were delicious. Quality natural yogurt...

Red Roofs was comfortable, very welcoming, and entirely understanding and flexible about our need for an early start. The excellent packed lunch sustained us nicely on the Cleveland Way! A great start to our walking holiday

Well worth a visit. The host even played the mandolin for us at breakfast! Good choice for breakfast. Good location, very peaceful and only a five minute walk into Helmsley Centre. Tastefully decorated rooms and 10 % discount given at the Feathers Inn.

Me and my husband stayed for one night over bank holiday weekend as we were in Helmsley for a wedding. We struggled to find anywhere as the Tour de Yorkshire was on so we were relieved when we called Red Roofs and Jane offered us a double room with a shared bathroom. When we arrived a few weeks later Marco...

Just a short walk from the centre of Helmsely this is an excellent, family run B&B. Parking is available on the street outside - which is very quiet. Very clean and spacious room with excellent facilities. Freshly cooked breakfast before your eyes and was first class. Recommended!

Clean; comfortable, cosy, welcoming. I could go on. Marco and Jane are so professional and welcoming. Fantastic home cooked breakfast, with everyone around a large table so you can chat away with everyone, just like being at home. Lovely clean rooms and comfortable beds. Had a good night's sleep and to top it off a beautiful garden. I would highly recommend Marco...

I believed I had an en suite single room but at £40 I guess a shared bathroom was to be expected. The room was very comfy, the bed particularly so and Marco was an exceptionally welcoming host and interesting person to talk to. The breakfast was cooked and served in what appeared to be the family kitchen and was delicious,...

My partner and myself stayed here for one night to extend our helmsley weekend away and what a great recommendation it was too!!
