Hotel Llafranch is a lovely hotel but be clear about choice of rooms when booking. We travelled from 26-30 June as a party of 3 ,two exterior doubles ,one was off an older style but a big room with fabulous sea views, the other room was very...More
The Llafranch is everything we hoped it would be - lovely location just across the road from the beach, with just enough restaurants and bars to make evening meal choices interesting, but happily without the mass tourism effect that has blighted so much of Spain...More
After travelling to other warmer destinations through the winter we very much looked forward to revisiting our friend and hotelier Jose Maria at the llfranc hotel.
We have reviewed and stayed in this hotel many times over the years and cannot recommend this hotel highly...More
It's literally on the prom, 5 metres from the beach, overlooking the square from the side. Very friendly helpful staff, there weren't many guests staying as it was quite early in the season so we had very attentive service!

This is one of the emblematic hotels of the Costa Brava. Not cheap by any means, but right on the beach of Llafranc, most of the rooms have sea views. The restaurant is worth a detour in its own right.

There are plenty of streets nearby ( some are up steep hills) that did not have parking restrictions when we were visiting. We were out of season so some streets may have seasonal restrictions, You will have to look when you are there. There is a large P for parking sign in the square nest to the hotel, I am not sure where it points to.
The town is not large and I am sure no one would mind if you stopped to unload outside the hotel. We did and it wasn't a problem.
The parking problem is not just for this hotel, all the hotels along the front have the same problem, I would venture to say this hotel, and the others on this side of town, are probably better placed than some as you are closer to the side streets for parking in the residential area.
I think the hotel did mention paid parking on their website.
Just remember nowhere is very far in this little town.
