Grand Horizon is what I would call luxury serviced apartment building, recently build. We stayed in 1 bedroom apartment overlooking infinity pool with amazing sea views and setting sun. The whole building and communal areas are modern and tastefully done. Our apartment was beautiful and very bright, with marble bathroom with bath and shower, kitchen had washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, cutlery, crockery, washing liquid, etc. Bedroom had iron, 2 robes, safe, etc. Air conditioning was very quiet. Breakfast was a buffet, and we could order from selection of cooked food. We had dinner 1 night and we enjoyed the food and ambiance. Some apartments have their own plunge pool (we didn't). We hang out around infinity pool perfect for cooling down and used comfy and spacious sun beds, with bonus of an amazing sea views. You will need a car if you want to go to the shops or local restaurants (5 minutes) although you can take a short cut and walk down steps to go to the beach which we did. It is the best place in Puerto Rico we stayed in, and would stay in again. I would recommend it especially if you are looking to switch off and want somewhere peaceful, away from hustle and bustle.

The hotel is located on a hill, but don't let that scare anyone. The views from the balconies, terraces and the beautiful panoramic swimming pool will certainly compensate for the number of stairs you have to climb. I stayed here with my husband for a week to enjoy my birthday. We are so excited about everything! We loved it here. A perfect week from start to finish. We found it very good that the room service was with us every two days, made our bed & changed our used shower towels, beach towels etc. I find it sustainable & we like our peace & quiet & don't need new things every day as we also had a washing machine & it is an apartment for us. We would love to fly here again next year & enjoy another week here :) since we had informed us beforehand where and what the location of the accommodation is, we rented an SUV with Sixt directly at the airport in Puerto Rico. We have been (except for two days) every day breakfast in the restaurant. It was a dream. Every wish was granted. Once we had dinner. Also perfect. We were very pleased about the nice & courteous staff throughout the service. Many thanks to the entire Grand Horizon team. We would definitely come back! Greetings from Bavaria.

First of all this place is gorgeous, beautifully clean and luxurious. The staff were lovely and helpful and it was very relaxing and tranquil. NOT a family hotel. So why not a 5? This is classed as a five star and the little niggles let it down. Three days before we arrived I did the online check in and downloaded the smart phone app, I had paid for a private pool room and I could see on the map it was not very private. (Room 202) I messaged using WhatsApp and asked to change rooms. I was told 303 also a pool room was available but to change would cost €50 a day. No amount of argument changed this point of view. We arrived at 21:30, and tried to use our virtual key, no luck. We pressed a ring doorbell and we were let through the gate, after wandering around we found our room and the door key wouldn’t work, fortunately a cleaner passed by and he went to fetch us a key. This didn’t feel very five star treatment. The apartment was lovely, little touches like a filtered water tap and bottle for the fridge was great, as was the bottle of cava. However when I went to hang my dresses in the large wardrobe there was only one hanging area, small and not long enough that also housed the safe and ironing board. Our terrace was next to a main path as were some others, fortunately not a busy hotel and the glass was tinted. The seaview was through the bar area but not unpleasant to look at. The whole area was lovely with electric sun blinds and a pull out drying rack, our problem was the area did not get full sun until 1pm when it was very hot. Due to the position of the hotel I think many apartments would have had the same issue. Fortunately the main pool was lovely and we spent our time there, some days being the only people there. It was well thought out and the waterfall gave it a lovely tranquil feel. I absolutely would return here, although I would save myself the expense of a pool or jacuzzi room and book a serenity apartment and use the main infinity pool with its gorgeous view. As you can see non of these issues spoilt our holiday but they let the hotel down a little.

Location is perfect and the complex has very nice facilities. Room was very clean and large with all the adequate amenities. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Pool area has an amazing view over the Puerto Rico harbour and it is very well maintained with both heated pool and jacuzzi that get regularly cleaned every morning. I will definitely come back, highly recommended!!

Everything about are stay was just perfect, the room, the staff, the resort! We were also very lucky with the weather ☀️ The resort is maintained so well, it is very quiet and peaceful and subject to where your room is could easily go a day without seeing anyone. The breakfast is fabulous and there is a restaurant on site which we ate in twice and was lovely both times with great service. We had a room with a pool which was just incredible but we also visited the communal pool and pool bar which were equally as good. The beach, shops and bars are about a 10/15 minute walk away but this is down (and back up) a lot of quite steep steps so won't be for everyone however we did it daily with all our water and wine bottles and it was fine. We got a taxi back some evenings and this was less than 5€ Thank you for amazing stay Grand Horizon - we will be back xx

As a couple, we were able to experience two unforgettable, beautiful and relaxing weeks in one of the luxurious apartments. The view of the two harbors, the beautifully landscaped hotel complex and the beautiful sunsets over the sea are addictive. We had an apartment with a whirlpool and will always book one with a pool. It is extremely relaxing to watch the setting sun while sitting in the heated whirlpool with a glass of wine, for example. The smart system is self-explanatory and opens doors and gates as long as you have your cell phone with you, as it is controlled via an app. If there are any uncertainties, support is available immediately. The same applies if there is a technical fault (in our case, the ventilation in the bathroom stopped working after heavy rain - this was fixed immediately). We found the privacy and the discreet treatment of the guests very pleasant. Our pool was cleaned regularly after consultation with us. After a week there was room service with replacement of towels/bed linen. If this schedule is not enough for you, you can always book additional service or do your own laundry in the kitchen, which is fully equipped with a washing machine and dryer. The absolute highlight for us was the entire team: incredibly friendly and accommodating. Despite the stress that is certainly going on in the background to ensure everything runs smoothly for the guests, everyone takes the time for a quick chat. We would particularly like to mention Obdulia, Anna and Jesse in this context. Overall, Slawomir has a very motivated and great team. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and the in-house restaurant invites you to enjoy a 3-course dinner or a la carte meal with a wonderful selection of delicacies. Conclusion: highly recommended and we will be happy to come back.

Stayed here for a week. Firstly the complex want you to use WhatsApp to communicate and an App called smart suite. Communication was fine if you have a smart phone which most people do now. The App allows you access basically a key. The place is not suitable unless you are fit lots of stairs there are lifts but we didn’t use them. It takes 10 to 15 mins to walk to the beach. Don’t take the dodgy stairs the hotel has built which are located at the restaurant go along the road about 59 metres you will see some blue railings take those ones better steps all 143 of them. The room 221 was pretty good. Bathrooms two of them shower was ok. What let the apartment down very poor bed uncomfortable mattress and cheap pillows and bed linen. Towels provided are rubbish worn out. Was fairly clean but not sparkling. The sun terrace was however brilliant very large with furniture two sun loungers with a hot tub. The sun was there all day until sunset so position perfect. You can get a suite with a small pool which we looked down on so not very private. Parking is great right outside. Wasn’t cheap needs to get a few things sorted people like great showers towels and luxury bedding.

Very beautiful modern Hotel. Our apartment was amazing! Nice view, clean, and good equipped! The negative things are the cleaning of the rooms, we stay 7 nights and they came to clean only twice, that’s not normal for 5star hotel or Apartmenets. The Breakfast was ok, not really good quantity and quality at all, sometimes when you wanted to get something from Buffet it was already finished, the fresh orange juice Machine was something different from the other Hotels. There is almost no Reception but virtual reception. You have to call them for any issue. I recommend it!

Absolutely blown away by the view upon arrival. One of the best hotels we have had the pleasure of staying in. Modern in design it’s unbelievably clean, the hotel on where it’s situated overlooking the harbour is spectacular. The rooms are exceptional and spacious and everything is catered for. Our room overlooked the infinity pool which has the most amazing views. Every time we walked back into the hotel we continued to be wowed, especially at night when we would stroll around the pool area under the orange and blue lights. Breakfast buffet had an excellent variety (freshly made omelettes, made to order are a must have). Only a ten minute walk downhill to the the main centre of Puerto Rico. The staff cannot do enough for you, every member of staff are extremely friendly and helpful and always have a smile of their faces. We cannot thank them enough, for the most amazing experience me and my family had. Thank you Grand Horizon, we will return.
