I travelled over the bank holiday weekend for a five day trip with my husband and son. We had returned after a period of 14 years and knew we enjoyed the apartments previously so were happy to return.
Reception staff were great from the outset, willing to assist with any queries and checking us in quickly and efficiently whilst being polite and friendly at same time. Any staff we encountered during our stay were excellent including the bar staff, breakfast restaurant staff, supermarket and bakery staff, housekeeping and also the lifeguard. Everyone we dealt with were great at their job and only too happy to help. This was most appreciated.
Rooms were modern, well equipped and absolutely spotless. The balconies were amazing once again, so much space to relax and chill out on a well deserved break. Close to the centre but with no noise at night as soon as balcony door is closed over.
Would recommend booking a high floor where possible to get a side sea view though obviously it does take longer to get to your room the further up you go.
Location is excellent, only a few mins away from the Mogan mall and commercial centre with shops bars and restaurants. Can use Terrazamar lift to get in and out or walk down the road and steps if more able but still not far at all. Beach is about 15/20mins walk away or 5mins in a taxi. Also can walk to Amadores beach in an hour or a quick cheap 10min taxi.
We used two swimming pools, one at top of sun suites which was great, plenty of space and loungers. My son enjoyed the bottom pool best which is the Terrazamar one, this was shallower for him to swim comfortably which was great for his confidence. Happy hour twice a day at the poolside bars which was great.
There was a laundry on site, rooms have air con which you can pay for in bedroom of apartment but there is a fan in living room as well. Safes are in apartments also. Plenty info at reception with leaflets and info for day trips and excursions should anyone wish to do these.
We will definitely return and had a fantastic trip. Thanks again Sunsuites!

We travelled for the UK half term in February 2022. Check in was quick and easy, Sunsuite room was spacious and clean although a little tired but the amazing Astro turf balcony more than made up for it with two sunloungers, dining table, chairs, parasol and clothes airer. The TV has one UK channel (bbc news 24) if you want ‘international’ tv channels it’s €15 for the week. If you were staying in the summer you would also need to pay for air conditioning. Pool on floor 10 was clean and plenty of sun beds. Happy hour at the bar 11am - noon and 3.30 - 4.30pm, €3 for 2 beers at these times, bargain! Food at the bar was reasonably priced and pizzas could be boxed to take away. 5 min walk from Mogan Mall via the Terrazamer section across the road from sunsuite, gate at the bottom of this complex brings you out near the ground entrance to the mall (Super Dino there is excellent value and much cheaper than Spar supermarket). The self service laundry on floor 1 of the hotel was great value at €4 a wash and €4 to dry (tokens from reception), just bring your own wash liquid/powder. All in all we would return to the hotel if the price was similar to what we paid if Feb, if you can get this hotel at the right price - don’t hesitate to book.

4 stars for a 3star hotel. I wouldn’t pay more than €700 ish for this hotel for the week. I would stay again for a budget holiday.
Fantastic location, back gate of the Terrezamar suites is right onto Mogan Mall and Puerto Rico shopping centre where we went every night for dinner. The beach front is a 15/20min walk where the port is also you can get on boat trips.
The rooms in the Terrezamar Suites are very spacious with very large balcony’s, perfect for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids.
Swimming pool is on the front door entrance level which is on 6th Floor. We stayed on 5th floor on the side of pool so that that was perfect. (Room 515) Pool area basic but perfect. You can also use the sunsuites pool area if you want but we were happy at ours. There are also a few pool tables and air hockey.
Pool bar perfect and lovely lunch menu. Our picky kids were very happy with the burgers and the club sandwiches are lovely.
On site shop where you can grab lovely warm croissants in the morning.
For a basic hotel it really is great!
Only downside was the rooms weren’t very clean. The floors especially. Needs a good mopping and deep clean. We kept our sandles on while inside as our feet would be dirty from the floors. I also bought disinfectant wipes when I arrived for the room as the surfaces were quite dusty.
Also the back gate key card never worked at night time.

Room 1706 room is in need of deep clean & refurbishment Having stated here few years ago we thought we book again for trezzamar However on arrival we told only sun suites open . I paid extra as wanted top floor we given room 1706 I was very disappointed with the room cleaning standards were poor such as door handle area dirty & white walls were clearly need of cleaning this is not good as in a COVID situation all door handles should be constantly cleaned . The bed also did not look fresh even had small dot of what looked like blood stain . We only staying a week but really wanted to move out ASAP mentioned to reception about the room they said send cleaner they change the bed it did look fresh after But confirmed my thought that the bed had not been fresh on arrival . See photos of room & bedding . The top pool gets a lot of local Spanish ppl mostly weekend it can get a bit noisy The guest have to wear wrist ID bands yet the locals do not ! If we were to return I would only want to stay in trezzamar section not the sun suites The reason I gave three stars is because of poor standards of room 1706 I have noticed another reviewer saying they also stayed this room they also complained so obviously no action by hotel has been taken . The location is good however you need need to be fit to walk up hill on way back . Air con has to be paid fir €38 per wk & TV is to be paid too . No safety big in room but you can pace your items in reception safe But it’s bit pain if want back & too al, times as most room are long walk to reception

The terraces are large with 2 sun loungers and a table and chairs, the rooms contain a small kitchen, living room and bedroom.
The rooms were cleaned daily with new towels every other day. Beds were very comfortable however we did need to purchase the air con as it was so warm on a night. This was 36 euros for the week. The safety deposit boxes were in a room by reception these were 30 euros with a refundable 15 euro deposit.
The pool area was kept clean and tidy and always had a lifeguard watching the pool, plenty of sun loungers. The pool bar opened around 11 every day and had happy hour between 11 - 12 and 4-5 the only downside that they didn't have any sangria! The strawberry and mango daiquiris were lovely!
The only downside of the stay was the bottom gate was locked, we usually book the hotel because of the bottom gate and easy access into the centre of the resort. With the gate being locked there was either a fairly steep bank or alot of steps to climb!
We will definitely return to this hotel in future.

Went again in January to make up for missed holidays last year. As my wife is disabled and cannot walk very far, I asked for an apartment near to the lift. We normally hire a mobility scooter but were being quoted E370 for two weeks which is nearly 3 times what we paid for last year and more than we could afford to pay. We were allocated room 203 in Terrazamar which was 75 metres from the lift which was very disappointing. I immediately asked for a change but was told nothing could be done until the next day at the earliest and it would depend on what was available. We had to hire the scooter anyway. Room itself was OK but did not seem to have been refurbished like the ones in the Sun Suites, The massive balcony was great but was on the second floor which being so low, gets the sun a lot less - clears the hill later, sinks behind the hotel itself earlier. We love this place. We have been there many times and have already booked again for May. This is the first time we have been disappointed. I must say a word about the cleaner we had. She was absolutely brilliant, scheduling her cleaning to our needs and generally brightening our day. Top marks to her.

Hotel was lovely close to centre of resort and the new shopping centre. Terraces are huge and have two sunbeds, great option if you dont want to venture around the pool. Pool was a good size and we were the only people round it a couple of days. Pool bar was good value and happy hour twice a day.
Only downside of this hotel was cleaners, although towels were replaced and beds were made they didn't seem to sweep or mop the floors in the rooms or balconies for the duration of our stay.

Stayed 15-22 Feb 2022 in the Sun Suites on the 7th floor. Massive apartments, huge balcony with furniture and sun beds which get the sun all day. The maids days off are Tuesday & Sunday. Due to our arrival day (Tues) the maid made 3 visits, bedding was changed once and towels twice. Kitchen well stocked with a handy fridge/freezer. Bathroom was of a good size and the shower was excellent. Only visited the pool twice but it was of a good size. The pool bar served nice food but it closed quite early and the pool closed daily at 5pm. Quite a steep walk to the Commercial Centre up & down 77 steps which are fine if you are able to walk well. Plenty of nice restaurants & bars in the C.C. New shopping centre (Mogan Mall) is lovely. Cafe on site is ok but our one visit and simple order took forever and came out at different times!! Safety deposit boxes are located in a room behind reception. 2 sets of lifts exist one from reception to floor 6 and the other set from floors 7 - 11. The supermarket on site is very well stocked and open from 8am - 8pm. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Sun Suites but the private balcony is the best feature by far. We would definitely visit again, hopefully in Sept but we may have purchase the air con during this month.

Arrived at Terrezamar and sunsuites 11th August 22, 2022 Family of 3. We payed extra and booked the Sunsuite Royal apartments thinking this would have that little bit extra, Unfotunately it had a little bit less.
Royal Sunsuites he Royal apartments are at the very top, you have to use various lifts/stairs to get to ground floor level, these apatments are in 3 different buildngs each seperated by a road. Terrezamar on lower level, sunsuites middle level and Sunsuite Royal very top level. The Royal sunsuites are no different to the standard sunsuite apartments, only difference you have a slightly better side view of the sea. My personal opinion they are not worth paying the extra for. The Royal pool which is on the roof top is quieter than the others, only Sunsuite royal guests get to use this pool. Theres no music so more peacefull, but is lacking facilities like a pool bar/snack bar, it also seriously lacks parasols. I really think the royal apatments pool would be best suited being Adult only. As theres 2 other big pools for familys. Our room was 2 floors below the pool, and had paint peeling off on the balcony, the balcony floor was filthy on arrival and the shower tray sealent needed replacing and theres no filter on shower plug holes. On the plus side towels and bedding was changed regular and room was swept. Air con cost €50 for 10 nights but is crap and on a 4 hr timer.
Staff All staff very pleasant especially sunsuite pool bar staff and breakfast staff. Shopkeeper in onsite supermarket is very helpfull.
Pools All pools opens 10am and beds are taken quick in August, pool area of sunsuites floor cracked, which I found could be dangerous/unhygenic
Food and drink Happy hour twice a day 2 for 1 drinks, except soft drinks.
Food hit and miss in pool bar, route 69 burger and ceasar salad are good though pizzas, crepes are good. Breakfast very repetative but Omelettes are good.
End of visit ouldnt keep room on when very busy. Had to use showers by pool to change before gooing home, not very private and bit smelly.
Commercial centre/ Europa centre Thres some nice places to eat and drink in puerto rico and reccomend Pinochios for pasta, La cabana for breakfast and Murphys kitchen for a decent pie. All in commercial centre. The pub generous measures of spirits, Bar 69 coctail bar €1 for a pint, nice cocktails. The shamrock live music , Reccomendd babacoa for live tribute acts all free.
OUT AND ABOUT Take a trip by ferry to Mogan, and visit Amadores beach New Mogan mal if you like shopping for designer stuff.

We are here now and I’m wondering what some people want from a holiday and I definitely don’t agree with the negative comments. The hotel has everything you need. The rooms are like little apartments with a separate kitchen bathroom and bedroom, all well equipped for cooking and storage. Shower is a nice size with plenty of room. The garden is perfect with loungers , umbrella, table and reclining chairs. It’s pretty central to the town centre especially if you use the gate at the back of the hotel. Staff are really friendly and will help in any way they can. We will definitely come back to this hotel
