The location of the Navy Lodge is good on base. It is a lot bigger than what it seems. The rooms are nice and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The exchange and commissary are just a short walk over the hill.

We wanted to stay out in town but there was a festival happening so all hotels were booked. So we had to stay at the Navy gateway lodge. It was a nice room we got a suite so had a living room and separate bedroom. The service was great but the internet was very spotty. The tv was very poor...

Excellent location as a jump off point to Cadiz, Sevilla, and quaint towns in between. Rota is a nice resort town in its own right. Staff is helpful and wonderful. Rooms are great for families on a budget because of the fully equipped kitchenette.

We stayed here for several days while on a family vacation in the area. The accommodations were adequate, clean, and spacious - including a kitchenette with dishwasher, stove, and microwave. There is a pretty courtyard area, laundry facilities, and small continental breakfast with juice and coffee. The wifi is free, but you will find that the access and signal is...

Great hotel for $84 dollars a night. Main room consisted of 4 smaller rooms, bedroom, living room, bathroom, and kitchen. About a 5 minute walk to the NEX that has a Subways and Starbucks. Recommend taking a taxi ($8) into Rota for great food by the beach. The Sangria there is the best.

I was sent to NS Rota for the Navy. I stayed at the Navy Lodge and loved this quaint hotel. The staff is outstanding and the room was very clean. The courtyard that the rooms surround is very nice. It is peacefull and cool. It was hot but the breeze was great, WiFi very poor in guest room - good...

The hotel has many convenient features, two room suites with US power. Close to all on base facilities but lacks any breakfast pantry or food choces minus a vending machine. Whereas the locations off base provide similar convenience with breakfast included and in certain cases on the beach with dinner set within per diem. For a person with transportation i...

Rooms are quiet and very comfortable. You can walk to just about everything you could need from this hotel. Staff are very nice and always willing to help. Wifi is available but it can be very slow or not connect at all quite often. Recently updated rooms make the stay even better now.

The Navy Lodge is walkable from the air terminal, or a cheap taxi ride (you can find taxis waiting right outside the terminal). Or, you can rent a car in the air terminal (though they close at 4 or so). If you walk, basically walk toward and past the big water tower. The Navy Lodge is on the road behind...

I had reservations about staying on the Rota Navy base, but was pleasantly surprised the accommodation where very nice and quite and a lot cheaper than the local establishments. The local community provides few shopping stores but the restaurants are plentiful and good value for your money! Beaches are excellent and I was treated with respect and the locals are...
