This property is all about the view, and it is absolutely amazing! The owner is a very nice lady. Now a few issues: the road is rough (only access for one car for a long stretch), the photos are not necessarily accurate, and a challenge to find reception (although this has been mentioned in many reviews which gives the feeling that the owner doesn’t care to change this). I think many of the photos are the private villas, which appear to be much more up to date but there are only two villas. While it’s a lovely property, I do not think it’s luxurious at all… it may have been spectacular when it first opened. A few other things: had a really short shower curtain so the entire bathroom floor got wet when showering and kitchen could use more utensils. There was an old, abandoned car not far from the pool as well as areas that could have been touch up a bit. In summary, I think it’s a great value for the money however if it is luxury you desire, look elsewhere.…
We love this location! We’ve visited twice in 14 years and enjoyed it more the second time around. The view is amazing and the location is fairly secluded. It has a pool and the host is lovely. Also Surrounded by olive trees
We arrived in the dark after our flight into Heraklion. We were grateful for the detailed directions from Pepy which made finding the Nymphes easy enough, up on the steep hill overlooking the bay. She was waiting on arrival with a warm welcome and showed us to our apartment, which had a lovely view of the sparkling lights of Agia Pelagia below. Everything was as it should be; clean, tidy and comfy. The view from our terrace when we woke up in the morning was just wonderful - wish we could have stayed longer!
I stayed at Nymphes for a week’s stay at the beginning of October, in the 2 new villas located at the top of the property. The road to reach the villas is steady, but it becomes funny when you’re a little used. Villas are very pleasant, well arranged and decorated, comfortable beds, great outdoor furniture around the pools, surrounding the marvelous bay of Agia Pelagia. Weather at this time was fine, but the temperature did not allowed us to use the pools, next time, we’ll tried to come in September or in May or July. Pepy, the owner of Nymphes is a wonderful person, as everybody says, thanks Pepy for your true kindness. At this moment of the year, each villa can be booked for less than 70€ per night, I don’t see what can be better for this price.
We lived in this apartment from 10/04/18 to 10/16/18 (a large family of 3 adults, 3 children - 1 child of 1 year). When we arrived, it turned out that the hostess had forgotten about our reservation and canceled it, without warning us (all confirmations by mail were requested and received from her in advance). She refused to return the money and placed 6 people in an old double room for 2 nights, then another 2 nights in a suite, and only then in a room reserved by us earlier. Instead of an apology or compensation, she only pretended not to understand and went to her room. Vacation was ruined. Returning from a trip to Santorini 10/09/18 late at night in the apartment, we found that they are dirty and not ready. The hostess again forgot about us and rushed to clean them. We stood outside with the children in the dark and waited. The apartments themselves are not luxurious at all, as the name implies, but old and worn out. In our room in the toilet there was always water from the toilet bowl on the floor. A lot of cats who constantly walk on the tables and steal food from plates and packages. The road to the apartment is quite dangerous - from an asphalt road about 700 meters of dirt dirt road along the cliff.…
We stayed for a week in these apartments and it was great. Just the view gives an extra star. The apartments are nice with lots of space and fully equipped. If you like cats, there are many friendly cats around. The area of Agia Pelagia is very nice and quiet, the beach is great with restaurants and shops. In the sea you can easily swim with lots of fishes around you. Children will love the area.
Wonderful place! The host is great and the place looks like a dream! Beautiful view, very .clean and quiet. Perfect for couples and families with children Only 10 apartments, very peaceful You would love it!
Welcome at pepy's home. For the third time we came back at Nymphes Luxury Apartments, and this time with ours daughters. it was as usual magic : the view , the peace, the flowers all around the property and pepy manage all that with so much love. we are guest but we feel like a family. The apartments are wonderfull and it's the best place to be. you can rent a car and visit all around as you like: Heraklion, Chania, Agios Nikolaos , go to the beach at 5 minutes or choose a good taverna. Don't miss it... we will be back soon ! Thank you Pepy , you are wonderfull ! Kisses from Francia
We spent 8 nights at Nymphes and thoroughly enjoyed it. The views are magnificent and the apartment was pleasant and comfortable. The property is at the top of hill just outside Agia Pelagia and we couldn't have managed without a car. Pepy the owner was very helpful and pleasant. However if you are directed to Gazi to shop keep in mind there were is an excellent small supermarket much closer just to the west of Agia. Similarly do not neglect to use the restaurants on the sea front at Agia, we had some excellent meals there although it was suggested we went further afield. An excellent base to explore the region and come back to perfect views and relaxation
Booked to stay for a week. Great place to relax and just enjoy the silence. It is a MUST to have a car as it is very remote and not accesible by foot or bike. The property is very clean, everything is super nicely decorated and the hostess is a very friendly lady. She got us a bottle of mineral water, some fruits and a bottle of wine upon on arrival so we could relax after the flight. By car there are restaurants within 15/20 minutes driving range as well as a beach. Also Chania which is a 2 hr drive was really nice.
