We enjoyed a very restful and relaxing hoilday at the Pela Mare. Perhaps just relaxing by the pool isnt everybodies ideal holiday but it fitted our needs perfectly Also an ideal location to visit the local villages or venture farther afield if wanted. Breakfast and evening meals in the hotel were great or there are any number of tavernas in the nearby village a short walk away.

Beautiful hotel with lots of flowers and green. When we arrived we got an upgraded room with a big balcony and a nice view over the entire area. (though all the balconies seem to have a nice view). The rooms were very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Because we were travelling with a young child, we opted for the included dinner. Every night we got to choose between different options for each course. The food was very good and portions were large. The breakfastbuffet was excellent. In conclusion; Everything was great! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect location with an excellent see view. Small holliday resort for those, who like to relax. Clean and comfortable appartments. Staff is always ready to help. The guest is treated like member of owner' s family. Fair value for money ratio.

Everything about the hotel is superb. The staff are all very attentive and helpful, the rooms are spacious and ours had a wonderful balcony whilst the meals are first class. There is a large outdoor pool and a beautifully maintained garden looking on to the bay. It is excellent value for money and can be thoroughly recommended.

Room Tip: Maybe ask for a room with twin beds as the double bed was small. But this is the only downside

We visited the bar of the hotel with a friend. The bartender was excellent, he gave us instruction for our holidays with a big smile, we sat by the pool and we enjoyed the perfect cocktails of the bar... We highly recommend it. Kisses.

We stated in Pela Mare for 8 days during July 2021 with a group of friends. Anything we requested was immediately met - even those one you would not expect a hotel personnel to do. One of our friend’s wanted to propose to his girlfriend. Antonis even arranged with a local Florida to set up a beautiful proposal near Lygaria beach. The rooms were very clean and tidy - just like in the photos. The vieres are absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious and Vaso was such a sweetheart. Always checking up on everyone. Giorgos - another staff member was so good at giving good advice. We went to Preveli and we loved it more than Elafonisi. All in all, we felt like we were staying in family yet were able to rest and travel around beautiful Crete. I recommend this hotel from the bottom of my heart.

We have stayed at Pela Mare multiple times for long periods of time and can honestly say it's our favourite resort on the island of Crete. The views are phenomenal, the service is the best we have ever had in any hotel...ever. And it is incredibly comfortable for a family holiday. The balcony views are breathtaking and everything about this magical little place starts to feel like home from home. The resort is near many world class beaches, incredible restaurants, and easy access to the highway for lots of sightseeing. Calm and quiet ambiance, palm trees, beach chairs, umbrellas, delicious drinks, clean and inviting pool with a view over the ocean... the most relaxing stay we've had. There is even a smaller splash pool for young children who love to explore the impeccable grounds and lush surroundings. The buffet breakfast is really impressive, and it changes from day to day so you're not getting bored of the menu. The chef is so generous in accommodating different diet needs as well. It's heaven! Thank you to all the staff at Pela Mare who are world class, we can't wait to see you next year!

Pela Mare had a great pool, with a bar/restaurant at the end. The hotel had beautiful views onto the sea and down over Agia Pelagia beach. The staff were very friendly, with a delicious breakfast buffet. All in all an ideal location for a beach holiday to escape and relax.
