In summer we went on a road trip of some 3500 kms with the family - first East, then back. And this trip also made us cross Germany. Wishing to discover a little more I decided against staying in the same places both ways and so we eventually decided to stop over in Frankfurt, not am Main, but Frankfurt Oder,...

The hotel is in good location. It smells like old buildings always smell. I like old style. But. The doors are too old even if they look good. The doors are massive and should keep the silence in the room. But they all are deformed and you may see even light from inside :). The hotel has no restaurant. For...

The hotel was easily reached, after a short ride on tram route 5 going from the main [Hbf] rail station towards the Messe grounds and was located opposite the Kleistpark. After a warm welcome, I was shown straight to the allocated room overlooking a quiet courtyard at the back of the hotel, away from road and tram noise, so a...

The hotel is on a quiet thoroughfare opposite the Von Kleist park . It is about 10 minutes walk to the towncentre which is not exactly buzzing with excitement. The bridge to Poland is about a quarter of an hour's walk. The hotel is spacious and in a good state of upkeep. Breakfast is satisfactory. I would advise not to...

We arrived rather late, travelling from Poland to southern Germany. The receptionist was friendly, the room quite okay. Good parking facilities. Breakfast was okay, but nothing really special and the breakfast room not very cosy. We have not seen the city, as we continued our journey the next morning. But we had a good night sleep!

According to the raising up of all fares in Franfurt Hotels (not less than 200 euro), this small hotel near the fair keeps the prices low, around 125 euro, more or less. It is a very simple hotel, young guys at the reception, always kind and efficient. The rooms are a bit oldish, but clean and with every standard commodity....

I was recommended this place by it's more expensive sister hotel across town. The rooms were modern, bathroom practically straight out of a showroom. Good bed. Awesome shower. Did not stay for breakfast as it was a pricey €9. So I went to a local cafe instead. However, staff were great (the mad lady receptionist insisted on carrying my motorcycle...

We checked into the Gallus on a trip to Warsaw, Poland. It was just an overnight and we arrived pretty late in the evening. A very nice, Polish Lady assisted us with checking in. The rooms are pleasant, large, but not modern. The bathroom was however, awesome. Large, plenty of room and an amazing shower set up. That almost made...
