The hotel is situated high above the city of Ramsay, and a small winding road leads from Deutsche Alpenstrasse up hill to the hotel. The rooms are not big, but sufficient for two persons. Bathroom with shower, hairdryer, handsoap and a small bottle of shower/shampoo. Bring your own if you stay for a week. All rooms have balkonys in alpine...

I stayed here for seven nights with my husband and two teenage children. We specifically came to Ramsau as my father-in-law came from Bavaria and my husband had enjoyed many happy holidays here as a child. My husband and I had stayed at the Nutzkaser last year and we enjoyed our time so much that we decided to come back...

Enjoyed four nights at Hotel Nutzkaser in early spring. Spectacular scenery, wonderful service, and very good accommodation. Bed was the usual German style. Mattress was a little soft, but no problem sleeping and that mattress type is standard in most family hotels there. The rooms were spacious in traditional Bavarian decor, modern bathroom facilities. Our room had a balcony with...

We spent one night, unfortunately in bad weather, but the view was still breath taking. The room was clean and basic. Friendly, but reserved staff. The restaurant also favored from the view, the food was basic, but ok. There is a large parking area.

I recently spent the Christmas holidays in Ramsau and stayed at the wonderful Nuzkaser Hotel. Great location (easy visits to Koenigssee, Berchtesgaden, Bad Reichenall or Salzburg). Clean, efficient rooms with balconies facing the Alps. Dining was top notch - typical Bavarian fare but enjoyed game specialties while there. We had warm weather to start but then ended with a foot...

A nice, quiet... simply fantastic place with cozy rooms and exquisite food, 20 minutes from Berchtesgaden and 40 minutes from Salzburg. The location is a little remote; still, you can easily get there with a car. You can visit Hintersee and Konigsee or you can take a city trip to Munich. There are nearby trails for the hikers.

Stayed for the second time. What a fantastic place. This is a very nice and quiet Gasthof. Situated in 1100 meters you have a wonderful view of the Watzmann and Hochkalter mountains. The rooms are cozy and spacious. The restaurant is very good, and also with a nice view. The menu is big and the food is very good.

Went on a family four day holiday here, most the family could speak German which helped as the place is mostly all in German. The food was excellent on a half pension deal of 50euro a night for 4 nights. The rooms are large clean tidy and had excellent views. Really enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

We just enjoyed our second stay at this very enjoyable small hotel located in Ramsau about 20 minutes from Berchtesgaden and about 35 minutes from Salzburg. The hotel is relatively small - about 20 rooms or less. We were in Room 204 which has a great balcony overlooking the Watzmann mountain. Room was very comfortable with double beds, room safe,...
