In June 2016 we stayed at this hotel. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view. However, this was more of a motel than a hotel, with extremely limited services. There is no one at reception from about 10:30pm to 8:00am; some, but not all of the desk personnel were neither friendly nor helpful (seemingly preoccupied by whatever was on...

A great location right on the edge the sea gives perfect views from the rooms and the restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was delicious. We wished we could stay a bit longer.

My wife and I spent two nights here during our week on Corsica. After a brief stay in Ajaccio we took the mountain road to Olmeto. First impressions of Hotel Abbartello were good, it seemed very nice and the reception and interior were lovely. The girl in reception was extremely pleasant and quickly checked us in, leaving us free to...

Stayed there 5 days in September 2015; location of the hotel is perfect if you want to explore the southeast of the island, as it is about half way between Ajaccio (north) and Bonifacio (south). It is literally on the beach, a beach of white sand albeit a bit coarse compared to other beaches but nonetheless beautiful with smooth rocks...

We stayed here for two nights during a mini tour of Corsica - our first visit to the island. The hotel - despite its postal address of Olmeto - is more accurately described as near to the little hamlet of Porto Pollo (5km in from the main N196 road between Olmeto and Propriano). Our room was facing the sea with...

I find it difficult to write a balanced review of this establishment because there is very little that is bad about it. The most significant minus was the buffet breakfast (not included in the room rate) was to frenetic for us. It was also quite expensive. After the first morning, we enjoyed Danish pastries etc (purchased from the Spar across...

We designed our own mini tour of Corsica, flying from Dublin to Brussels and then onto Figari, hiring a car at the airport and taking in three hotels and ending here in the marvellous Hotel Abbatello, which though pricey at 270 euros for two nights b&b from booking.com, was head and shoulders above our other two choices and so much...

It is the second time that we spend a night in our way to bonifacio in this nice place. The first time was in june. The staff is professional and helpful and the room quite well appointed and with a nice terrasse. But what we like the most is the beach near by. Just outside our room a few meters...

This was our first trip to Corsica, we were not sure where the best locations to stay would be but were not disappointed in our choice. While we were a long way from some of the sights, in general we were able to able to see some beautiful places, relax on the hotel beach, enjoy great restaurants and hike and...

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 6 nights and we had a great time. The location is nice as it is close to Propiano (main city) -approx 20 min by car. The hotel has also its own beach. However, several options are also accessible by only a 30 minutes drive. Most of the rooms have a fantastic view on...
