The staff are very friendly and helpful. The private room we stayed in was a bit like a prison cell. The kitchen area could have been a bit cleaner. The communal areas were very pleasant. This is quite a basic hostel, so that is what you get, but I cannot fault the staff and owner, who were all lovely.

Close to the bus stop, we were lucky to just walk in and find rooms. This is a delightful place to stay from start to finish. It is just a hostel so expect hostel living but it's one of the great ones. Be aware the even if it says it's booked online, that they keep rooms available for walk-ins. The...

We went for dinner arrived a bit early ( starts at 6:30pm). The owner was very gracious and helpful. We took a stroll and came back. Dinner was really good. Bruschetta and then spaghetti bolonaise followed by creme anglaise. $10 USD per person. Drinks not included $2000 colones for wine, $1000 colones for beer. You can bring your own bottle...

Wonderful atmosphere, extraordinary customer service and exceptional quality/price ratio! We tried the tree-house and it was such an experience!! No problems with bugs/insects at all! Just the chilling sound of the jungle! Really a special place!

I am very glad I chose this place! I'm traveling with a friend and we felt so at home here. The staff is super friendly. A real good vibe. Our room was perfect AC worked great. Basic rooms but nice and young atmosphere in the common area! A good restaurant inside. Near the main road and several shop and information centre. The only negative notes was the absence of window of our room and the commission of 6% on the credit card. At the end of our travel we reget not to stay more in Uvita...

It's a really nice hotel. We were there for 4 days and we didn't miss our home. Location is great, from just about 10 minutes on foot you can reach a beautiful waterfall. It's near to a bank, a bakery, a supermarket, a pharmacy. Also it's is really close to the main bus terminal ("La Flor de la Sabana", 2...

I think carefully about putting up a negative review but I want to share the experience my husband and I had staying at this place. We are travelling on motorbikes and initially we were accommodated and with undercover parking for the bikes. On the second night we developed high fevers and a severe rash from Dengue Fever picked up some ten days...

Hi Monica, I was very surprised and sorry to read your review. It is very unpleasant for us to tell clients they have to leave but as you know we are a small hotel with only 9 private rooms and we cannot send away a client that reserved because a clients want or need to stay longer. We cannot know...

Only stayed here for one night but got the impression this was a really nice well run hotel/hostel. We arrived super early on a bus from Dominical and had to drop our bags there before rushing off for a tour. We had a lovely warm welcome. They were really apologetic that we couldn't check in yet even though it wasn't...

It was such a cute place to stay during our honeymoon in Costa Rica! It is very nice and the owners are very kind people who help me set up a birthday surprise for my husband. The hammocks in the common area are one of the best touches and are very nice to use during a midday rain! You can't...
