I enjoyed staying at this hotel, and the area, so much that I changed all my plans and spent the whole week here. It's a charming, smaller family owned hotel that is both affordable and within walking distance to the gorgeous beach. A full breakfast is included in the price. The food is fabulous! The owner, who speaks excellent English,...

We were a multi-generational group (grandparents and teen grandson) and the hotel met all our needs. The rooms were big and clean, beds very comfortable, air conditioned, quiet. The warm swimming pools gave options of different temperatures. Iguanas loved to visit when we cooled off in the pools shaded by palms, mango and lime trees. The staff were very accommodating...

My niece and I visited Costa Rica for the first time in June. This was our home base for a week and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Lovely family run hotel in a small town just a walk from the beach. The owners where super nice and the food was great. Great visit overall. Christina Melrose MA

We stayed in March 2015 while attending Envision Festival. It was everything we needed with great hospitality! Our hosts were very welcoming, the rooms were clean and well kept, and the daily breakfast delicious. We would stay again.

A great stay for a fair price! The food was wonderful as well as the rooms (very clean!) The best part about Bahia was their location. Bahia Azul gives you an authentic feel for the real Costa Rican experience!

If you would like to meet the real "Pura Vida" in Costa Rica this is the right place. I'm from Virginia and my wife is from Costa Rica. When we travel to visit definitely we have to go to Uvita beach (BTW my wife's favorite beach) and what better place to relax and enjoy an excellent stay than Hotel Bahía...

We were expecting basic accommodations, and we got what we expected. Our room was very basic, but did have an air conditioning that helped dehumidify the room. We had nachos from the on site restaurant in the evening and they were satisfactory. Overall, I would have given the hotel an average review, but on check out there was an consistent...

We stayed one night. These are very nice Tico accommodations. If you want US style (Westin) accommodations then maybe look elsewhere. If you came to relax and get away from the rat race and savor Tico hospitality this is a wonderful place. The food was excellent. The staff was super friendly and responsive. One of the A/C remotes was acting...
