The place is run by a lovely family. The son, Victor, is extremely helpful and organized very nice tours for us. We had a lot of fun with him when biking threw muddy roads and on the beach. He speaks English fluently and tries to answer all your questions and assits in your further planning. We could use his notebook...

We only stayed here one night and had already had a lot of our tours booked by the time we arrived, but if we hadn't Victor, the owner, would've been a big help. When we first arrived he asked us actually what we wanted to do on our trip and told us all sorts of interesting information about the area....

We stayed in Cabinas los Laureles with a group of six people in two Bungalows. The rooms we chose were cheap as we were travelling on budget (as mentioned there are different types of rooms) and therefore basic and nothing special. But they were clean and there was nothing to complain about at all. The atmosphere is simply great. The...

We stayed in Cascada Eco Lodge the night before arriving at Cabinas los Laureles, and we were very glad to stay at Los Laureles--the staff was more welcoming, and it was closer to the rest of the very small town (the market, the bank, and couple of local restaurants). As everyone else has stated, Victor and his family are great...

The rooms were very clean and affordable. We had a rental car so the drive to the beach was not a problem, especially with Victor helping us find cool things to do with our 8 year old son. Victor and his father are wonderful hosts. We loved the trails through the jungle that we could walk to right from our...

We loved our stay in Uvita, and this cabinas was the perfect place to explore it. The rooms were very clean and nice, the A/C was much appreciated, and the value was very good (we picked the most affordable room at $33US/night). There was a great hammock right outside our door; such a peaceful, wonderful property from which we saw...
