Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa is often celebrated for its cleanliness and stunning natural surroundings, with guests enjoying the well-maintained rooms and common areas. The resort's amenities, including exceptional pools and a variety of activities, are frequently highlighted, though some activities come with additional costs. While the service is generally warm and attentive, there are occasional reports of slower service.

We recently stayed for 4 nights at the Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar as part of our family vacation in December. My son was very unwell when we arrived at the resort. The front office staff led by Mr Deepak went out of their way to quickly secure our rooms and organised hot daal khichadi so my son could rest and recoup overnight. Staff at the breakfast area led by Mr Manoja Kumar and supported by Abhishek Prajapati and his colleagues ensured we had an amazing spread of their scrumptious buffet. Ms Sophia Barua from the front office was constantly checking in on us throughout our stay and made our stay most comfortable. The property is expansive and the amenities and facilities are splendid. Whether you venture out or stay in, there’s so much to do for the whole family. Its proximity to Wilson Point (for Sunrise lovers) is an added advantage. Please note only Vodafone works better than the others in Mahabaleshwar. The resort wifi and mobile data connectivity is non existent, though the resort provides free dongle for the room. The resort is on the pricier side but every rupee spent here is well worth it!! Thanks guys for making our stay most memorable!

I visited Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar for two nights on the 23rd of May with my wife and seven-year-old child.
Thanks to the great weather, the property was beautiful, and it has been one of our most beautiful trips in Maharashtra.
Everything was well-maintained and organized, from the room to the amenities to the staff.
The cleanliness of the hotel was amazing. Despite being in the middle of a forest, both the outdoor and indoor areas were free of foliage.
The view from our room and the chirping of birds created a lifelong memory for us.
If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the few activities that were chargeable for the child. Although the charges were worth it considering the quality of the activities, making them free would have been the icing on the cake for us.
One commendable moment of hospitality was when we asked for dinner for our child, and the hotel sent it to our room at no cost. The food was so generously provided that my wife and I didn't need to order extra for ourselves.
In short, if you have a child and a good budget to create a memorable short stay with your family, I highly recommend this resort.
Kudos to the wonderful hospitality of the staff. May the hotel continue to improve and wish to visit this property again soon with expectations of even better memories.

We were greeted by Shayali at the front desk, she took extra efforts to make us comfortable and offered us complimentary beverage and helped us with scheduling the spa for the next day. Our experience at the Woods was surreal, food was amazing and the service was spot on chef Prem was kind and took care of additional requirements . Our experience with the Palmist Mr. Lakshman was very good, he was pleasant and he accurately helped us with the aspects we had on our mind. The staff and their hospitality is what makes the great architecture of the property into a great Resort and hospitality experience.
However the only minus point was the spa, The male massage therapist was inexperienced he had to be constantly guided. After the massage, My wife was still in the steam room, i was just about ready, and both the male and female therapist entered the couple massage room to clean and rearrange for the next guest. I had to ask them for privacy and that generally they are supposed to enter the room only after the guest is ready to leave. Yet the female therapist continued arranging , and said she will take only 2 minutes. I was taken aback , not expected at all. I didnt complain since everything else was so good. I didnt want this unpleasant interaction to affect the stay. but i would give 3/10 for spa. If i visit again, wouldn't use the spa.
Although we stayed only for one night, Apart from the spa, the entire experience was Amazing 10/10 for the property and hospitality

We stayed at Le Meridien in Mahabaleshwar for 4 nights and celebrated a birthday. The resort is located within a mountain forest. The air was very clean and fresh, the forest canopy kept the property cool, and we were surrounded by plants and singing birds. All restaurants within the resort served great Indian, Asian and Western cuisine, and breakfast was a buffet style with delicious food, fruit, tea, coffee, etc. We met chef Kishan who prepared a North-Indian inspired menu, which was wonderful. Dining in the Woods restaurant was particularly enjoyable due to its unique layout inside the forest. All staff (reception, food & beverage, housekeeping, spa etc.) were welcoming, kind and accommodating to our every need. They went out of their way to introduce themselves and make sure we had everything we needed. We used the on-site spa treatments on several occasions, as well as the bar and the pool, all great experiences. Overall, a superb experience which we highly recommend to other travelers. We would like to thank everyone at the resort that make our stay memorable and enjoyable, especially Ankush, Simmi, Lawrence, Gourav, Manish, and many others. Thank you!!!

During my solo trip to Le Meridien in December 2024, I experienced outstanding customer service that truly made my stay memorable. My visits to the restaurants Latest Recipe and Woods were particularly delightful. Not only was the food exceptional, but the staff went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were taken care of.
Special Kudos: Ankush, the manager, for his impeccable leadership. Vishal, Samaresh, and Abhishek (who could easily pass as Rajkumar Rao's lookalike!) for their attentiveness and warm hospitality.
Latest Recipe stood out with its cleanliness, a wide range of healthy dining options, and the ability to accommodate custom orders, which I greatly appreciated as someone who follows a healthy diet. A big thank you to the entire team at Le Meridien for making my stay unforgettable!

Stayed in the resort with family for 4 nights. It was a wonderful stay with such serene atmosphere in the entire property among the woods. The villa where we stayed was very well equipped and very well maintained. Breakfast spread at restaurant was pretty big with Indian as well as international cuisine. Service from Live Stations for all the hot items was very prompt. Food was very delicious and chefs deserve compliments. All the staff was really very hospitable. Rishabh Dongre, Tanya, Simmi at Reception were very nice & helpful. Kheemraj, Aman, Abhishek, Sanket, Anwesha at restaurants were extremely courteous and excellent professionals and took really good care. Kheemraj Tiwari in particular was so very kind with our kid. Jitender with activities including kids’ bicycles, toy car was so nice with our child. Only problem we faced was that WiFi was very temperamental and choppy. The management tried to help by providing dongle but that didn’t work too. WiFi in these days is a must and if it is in such poor state becomes a huge handicap and hernce request the management to fix it asap. However, all in all, it was a memorable stay at the resort and would certainly like to stay there again.

We are at Mahabaleshwar on this 8th day of Juky 2023 and came to dine at one of the limited 5 star resorts available at this place at 4PM.
We came to Latest Recipe and were greeted in a very jovial and pleasing manner by the GRE.
The restaurant was although practically empty but still, we were made to sit in one of the farthest end of the restaurant.
We ordered for a Manchow Soup and Thai Green curry with 'Jasmine Rice', as on the menu it was mentioned as Steamed Rice which is not the right accompaniment for Thai Greeb Curry.
We had to request multiple times for basic things such as being served with water as well as for Napkins.
The napkins came in after we were through with the Soup course.
The saving grace was the YUMMY FOOD.
The staff is trying their best to be at the best possible for each guest however it seems they are understaffed and overworked.
Request to the General Manager to please take cognizance of this and make requisite amends and keep the name of this amazing property high.
Look forward to a more rewarding experience on the next visit as comparisons are happening in my mind with Westin Pune where I am currently residing.

With the reviews and ratings we decided to stay with our kids (daughters) to celebrate women's day. After spending a huge amount per night we realised- 1. The exorbitant room prices merely include breakfast and rest all things have to be purchased even the recreation like garden as they club ut under "adventure activities" 2. Staff is just focused on "selling". There is no connect or warmth extended at all. At breakfast table you will have staff visiting you to sell spa service, salon service or adventure activities or buffet meals. 3. Service is terrible. When you ask for something, either u r ignored or misguided 4. Everything comes for a huge price despite paying a heavy room charge. The rooms are cramped given t cost. 5. Balconies are namesake and the view isn't great. U overlook other rooms and u pay a price for it mentioning forest view, but there is no forest. 6. Buffet Breakfast had same spread on sat and Sunday too Not sure if the people who have provided good rating and reviews have actually experienced good properties with similar cost. As this property clearly lacks the Marriott touch and value. We are brand loyal to Marriott and visited most of it regu. This proprty surely isnt qualifying to Marriott standard. We visited on women's day but not even a flower offered or any celebration or even a small gesture to wish. It is an over hyped place run locally and the prices won't ever make you feel it's worth. You may land up feeling cheated or no value for money.

Le Meridien is an amazing resort with loads of activities and one of the best hospitality professionals to make every occasion a special one.
The unique open air check in lobby in the midst of trees started the stay amazingly. The daily evening high tea with music , games and snacks was another highlight. The rooms were well setup and cleaned well by the ever smiling housekeeping team. The Food and Beverage team left no stone unturned to ensure the stay went well. Each of the restaurants were special and different in its own way. The chef's went out of the way to curate special dishes. Woods restaurant stole the show with its ambience and service. The water theme park type pool was the highlight for the kids and the activity area having daily special activity created memories. Slime making , painting , pottery and music all activities were organised by the team. The resort also arranged for strawberry farm visit which is a must do if you are in Mahabaleshwar. The breakfast spread was huge with entire team present to serve all the in house guests. People are the assets of this tranquil resort . Ankita from the activity area ensured my daughter had a good time. Rahul (Chief Engineer) along with the activity team celebrated the birthday making it extra special for us. Atin led the FnB team so well that he ensured we are enjoying our stay. Ankush, Abhishek , Chef Prem all played the part in we having the best stay. Shashi and team with their room decorations gave one of the finest housekeeping services we have experienced. The buggy drivers were quick and very courteous. One person who stood out was Gourav he curated special cocktails and was omnipresent. From Chingari dinner to breakfast and next days dinner at Woods he not only went the extra mile but also ensure we enjoyed as a family.

We were not accompanied by our child - best to call the hotel.
In my understanding, rt pcr tests not being asked even for adults - only full vaccination certificate required.
This is news to me! When we went in April 2021, it was not required. We just needed a doctor's certificate which stated that we are not suffering from any covid related symptoms. But if they are going to need RTPCR from now on, will have to not go there anymore. It is bad enough we have to RTPCR every time for domestic flights, but now for holiday resorts too! Ridiculous!
There are more places to choose from in the Mahabaleshwar area.
