The fact this is possibly my 'n'th review of this place tells you all you need to know about this place. Quietude, calmness & the soothing sounds of the wind whistling through the trees. That is all that you need to know before visiting this place.
We had been to Anand van Bhuvan this Diwali , must say a excellent place for people who want to have a quite stay, away from daily noise . Place is close to Mahabaleshwar forest , 4-5 kms from Popular Venna lake & over 10 kms from market. Rooms are clean & tidy , food is excellent , you get breakfast lunch dinner tea included rates , tea is served in room , food in dinning hall. Everything is great , you wake up to see the nature coming up in front of you , there is small garden , lots of places to walk around , if you want to eat strewberry cream , a popular outlet Hill TREAT is near by. Over all a great experience. staff is helpful , in case you need information same is provided. a must visit for calm loving & nature loving people.
I had visited this hotel in Oct 2019. Location and Ambience: This hotel is located approx. 6km from the new Mahabaleshwar city. Yet it is worth coz it is absolutely pin drop silence here. Make sure you carry all your daily needs as there is no shop nearby. Hospitality: The staff is really good and are marathi. The owner of this hotel lives in front of the hotel in a banglow. There are many dogs in the hotel area who keep on barking and hopping on people but don't get scared coz they don't bite. Food: The food quality is also good and both veg and NV options are available. Not sure if they serve drinks or not so better buy the drinks on your own from some wine shop and then enjoy. Rooms: Rooms are decent but could be better if properly maintained. Little bit damp smell often comes from the room thats because they were closed since long time. But within 15 mins the smell goes away if properly ventilated. Parking: its a huge area so park your car anywhere.…
Have been to Mahabaleshwar numerous times in different hotels, but this place really stood out. As the name says it all - This place lies in old Mahabaleshwar hugging a valley and its jungles. Once here, you frankly don't need to visit any points since the place itself is scenic. It faces a valley and you can see rising mountains just sitting on the garden bench. Being away from all the crowds the site is super silent. You can easily spot numerous birds, especially the jungle hens. I even spotted a fawn (baby deer) early in the morning. Not to forget a couple of very friendly dogs in the campus. The nights were super quite and this is probably the place you should be if you want to de-stress yourself. The staff is really friendly. They serve limited Maharashtrian veg thalis which is really tasty and healthy. (May not be for the one who likes unlimited Gujarati thalis) Also they do take non-veg orders on demand (we had eggs). The place is maintained very clean but the bathroom even though very clean, can do with a little upgrades. This place is probably for the only ones having their own cars. Overall don't expect luxury but this is a real bliss in Mahabaleshwar, away from the noisy crowds. Keep it up!!…
If you are planning visit to mahabaleshwar, then Anand Van Bhuvan Resort is the best option you have. It is perfect and has 1) pleasant location. Large area where you can roam around and enjoy the cool Breeze. 2) delicious food. They serve maharashtrian veg thali and its super yummy. They do have the non-veg option also. 3) co-operative staff. They are very polite and quite eager to help and serve you. They do take extra care for kids. They provide the option to cook your self for kids. 4) they do provide the cab facility also. 5) rooms are well maintained.
We Stayed there for 2 days in Mid of March. The hotel is little bit far from Mahabaleshwar ST Bus stand (20 minutes approximately by car). But that is why we get to stay at isolated, silent place with beautiful mountain view. They have all basic facilities. Rooms are clean, spacious.Garden, park for children. Big Parking space. We can have a cup of tea while sitting in the open area next to the rooms with a picturesque view of Sahyadri range. If you like vegetarian Maharashtrian food then you will love this place. They had non mahashtrian food items too on their menu card. We did not try any of them. The staff was humble,co-operative, enthusiastic. We had booked a package of 2 days which included pickup and drop to ST bus stand, breakfast, lunch ,dinner, supper and sight seeing in Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, etc. In short ,it is a hotel with all basic facilities with reasonable charges and good ambience. You can visit here with your family and friends.…
If you seek a getaway from the maddening rush of the city, look no further than this place. It is an isolated place, away from the hustle of "new" Mahabaleshwar. The property is literally in the middle of a jungle. You can hear the wind whistle in the woods and the breeze throughout the day is amazing. The views from the children's playground are spectacular. Lunch/Dinner fare is Maharashtrian and the variety is splendid. This place is our tri-annual vacation destination for a good reason.
We stayed there for 2 days in October. We were the only one in the hotel. First time when I arrived at hotel I thought its way inside from main road but actually its not. Rooms are not that great but they were clean and big enough for 2+1 stay. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner also included in package. Food was really good, as we were the only couple staying in hotel, we got special treatment :) Overall nice experience! You can definitely stay there for day or two.
Good about Hotel - Location : Though the daytime weather was unlike a hill station but nights were awesome due to location of the hotel on a hill top. Nature and serenity appeases you. Good and helpful staff. Not So Good about Hotel - Food, though quality is good but it has typical Marathi touch which might not excite many. Hotel ambience is simple and gives you 'at home' feeling with no swimming pool, gym or WiFi for those who seek these amenities.
Very Nice ,elegant and completely full of Nature , best place for stay in natures lap. Its an excellent place to stay with your family or friends. It is a resort with its own surprises. Rain country will be a paradise for you if your are : 1. Truly a nature lover - You won't get modern amenities like A/c, TV, brightly lit rooms etc.. You will definitely get what you have been missing in your day to day life. 2. If you really want to relax without any distractions.
