Honeywood is the place to be. Beautiful and calm. Our fur baby enjoyed and was really excited about the place. Booked a villa and every time someone knocked the door he wait to slip out and enjoy. Food was really nice, tasty and hot. We had a great time. Booking, order for meals everything was seamless.

Returned from a 3 night stay at Honeywood, our 3rd visit and place has maintained its standard despite difficulties of last 18 months of disruptions of Pandemic. Its our favourite as they are always ready to welcome our three 4 legged kids! Nice suites of 2 bedroom, each with attached bath, plus attached large dinning sitting space is very convenient for our full family. Food quality is very good and always freshly prepared for you, though you need to order 2 hours in advance.

Private great location and peaceful We were looking for a place with a pool and came accross Honeywood. Very inviting photos and we were happy that the pool was very well maintained with a gorgeous surrounding. Rooms were large. We were a group of 4 families and took 1 villa and 2 forest chalets. The forest chalets are close to the pool and have a lovely view. The villa was large with 2 rooms and a hall dinning. So if you have kids and want some well deserved privacy during your holiday then the villa is appropriate as the kids can spend time watching TV in the hall and even sleep there. The staff provided us with extra beds there. We enjoyed the pool and the Barbeque in the evening. Value money.. Must visit

As an old guest at HONEYWOOD I had to post this review. As usual the hospitality is at a different level, extremely personal and homely. The food is mouth watering ( pls feel free to give personal instructions while placing your order). Staff is very helpful. And the newest addition the fantastic swimming pool with an infinity edge that over looks the forest. The pool is has a sweet picket fence all around it so is very safe for the kids. There is a beautiful tree cover as well so the kids can swim during the peak of the afternoon. ( 2 pm to 4 pm is quiet time) which was a pleasant surprise for my kids who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. it’s a visual and obvious that the owners are making improvements by leaps and bounds at HoneyWood please do keep it up we will certainly be back.…

This property is one of the few remaining that maintains the charm of old style Mahabaleshwar. We had a room with a balcony and a forest view. Meals are made to order and the portions are generous. Lovely omelettes, biryani and barbecue. A very laid-back and tranquil experience. Did not have air-conditioning, so may not be ideal in the summer months-they do have pedestal fans. It is located in Old Mahabaleshwar and the quiet roads make it ideal for long walks. Avoiding wet bathrooms and better linen would be my suggestions.

The place is excellent - we stayed in their premium forest room chalet through AirBnB- and it is brilliant especially when you have a waterfall running constantly. The room is clean, the food is good but the quantity is questionable (I mean for a chicken curry they gave us in a bowl of water two pieces of chicken), the staff is really good, and the location is very good. The approach road can be busy and noisy creating noise nuisance to the property but I believe it is something which the property cannot do anything about given that the property is very close to some of the main tourist attractions. Their hot water in the bathroom was really good.

HoneyWood Mahabaleshwar is a nice cozy and comfortable place to stay. Food is good. We had all our meals there. Rooms are extra large in size. Service is good. If one wants to get away from typical hullabaloo of a tourist spot situated very close to 2 modern cities - this place is an ideal one. Most importantly (for us at least) it's a pet friendly resort. Our two babies enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Looking forward to our next vacation there.

Quick getaway close to home that makes you feel at home. Had a good experience at Honeywood. Rooms at this place are large and clean and well kept. The price is very reasonable and affordable specially if your looking to stay for long. Great ambience in the evening. Perfect trails for morning and evening walks through the forest. Very helpful owner. Keep it up.

After looking at various reviews we booked at this hotel. We were welcome by Mr Kiran who takes very good care of us. As its name suggest it is holiday home rather than hotel. It does not have big reception or restaurent. It provides big and comfortable rooms. We were 5 so booked bigger room. It was very good. It did not have great views. If you want to book a place just to sleep and spent maximum time out of the hotel then it is good place. If you don't want to go out you may get bored.

Hi, We have visited this place on 15th Jan '19 Me, Wife and 2year kid) We have booked forest view Room for the said date. The room was clean, Neat.. But we find it difficult with our little kid who loves to run here and there and in this Hotel it is up and down. What we liked 1) Hotel staff was polite, humble, and helping 2) food was good and hot 3) The owner herself called us and shared the details of the property (Great courtesy πŸ‘πŸ») What we didn't liked 1) The approach road to the hotel 1.5kms appx was just to bad 2) Proper signage boards should be installed on main road (V turn) 3) More powerful lights should be installed 4) Play area should be cleaned every 2days atleast (So much dust on tabletennis board & other things) Slide was not in perfect condition 5) Few more outdoor things to be added for kids upto 5years (Only a swing and Slide is there) Verdict We loved this place, but found it difficult with our little kid(Due to up down terrain) This place is cool for couples who want peace, Very calm, rejuvenating. Food is good, Staff is helping, No noise at all Star ratings 4/5 stars for hotel room 4/5 stars for the staff 4.5/5 stars for the food 1/5 star for the approach road 1/5 star for lack of board signage As we had our own car we didn't find it difficult to travel to Mahabaleshwar or panchgani either. This is my review what I felt, and can be changed depends upon person to person. Everybody can have his or her opinion on this. Thank you to the owner and staff Best, Busshan Vilas Vighne Nagpur, Maharashtra …
