Amazing food, amazing service! Great fun with the indoor activities available there... all round the clock service even for the sick and injured (trust me there were a few in our group)... 100/10 would recommend to stay with friends, family or even solo! 👍🏻

Saket plaza is a good hotel if you are looking for a decent 2-3 days stay in Mahabaleshwar. The rooms are clean and big, the service is good and it is located just 1km from the main market. There is traditional thali meals everyday which is mostly gujarati/jain cuisine but the preparations are good. All in all its good if you are not looking for a grand holiday.

This is one of the best hotel at Mahabaleshwar. Have stayed here a couple of times in past.
Very nice and well maintained property.
The rooms are spacious and clean.
The staff is very polite and courteous and always ready to help with efficiency.
This property is very peaceful, which also hosts some entertainment programme for the guest like movies in their small decided hall, puppet show, magic show etc.
The food severed at this hotel is pure vegetarian, well cooked and good quality.
Over all a must visit place. Would definitely visit this property again.

We were promised a 4 star hotel by TPH travel of mumbai, and to our dismay when we arrived we found that this hotel was no where near 2 star standard, the rooms were dank and smelly, bathroom even worse, we literarily checked out in 5 minutes.... My personal recommendation... If you are looking for 3 star and above this place ain't it ....avoid

Stayed in Saket Plaza for 3 nights - 6th Feb to 9th Feb 2014....Went with family and relatives and took 4 luxury rooms....
Let me start with saying that this is the most Overrated Hotel in Tripadvisor.....This is the first time we got set back on following ratings of tripadvisor....This should have been on No. 10th (or maybe much below than that) and definitely not No. 3....I don't know what others have liked in this hotel...Please see my review below:
Rooms & Ambiance: ok types (1 star are for this only otherwise I would have give 0 star or negative ratings if option is there)
1. The rooms we stayed in were definitely good...Big, neat & clean
2. Their is no view at all from any of the rooms.....Not even forest view as they have put nets across their boundary
3. No lift...so one has to climb stairs...A huge draw back for old people
4. No entertainment for kids (except one/ two slides & swings)
5. Not much of open area
6. Very poor outlook and does not give a grand look
About Food: Pathetic
1. Food spread is very less compared to Saj Resort where we stayed last year
2. The taste of food except for Indian (Punjabi) is pathetic...
3. They don't know how to prepare other items except punjabi food, but they will have it in the menu and we don't have any other option but to have it as the spread is too less...ie...if they are having chinese menu, they will have only chinese in the spread and nothing else...if it is bad than also one has to have it...
Service: Pathetic
1. The staff is very rude...they don't like critic...If one complaint of any services they will take it in negative and will never come back to you....The one to whom you have complaint will never
smile at you again or will never talk to you
2. We are pure Jain..... in one of the soup and one dish they did put garlic and after complaining they were not ready to accept that the chef has put it by mistake or its their mistake....Everyone including the manager was trying to protect the chef
I can go on and on, but I hope above is more than enough to stay away from this place....The best place I ever stayed in Mahabaleshwar is Saj resort....Pay 10-20% extra than this one and you get everything par excellence in Saj!!!

Travelled from 13 June 2012 to 16 June 2012 with a 18 month old baby
Read the reviews on TA and was convinced to book the package.
My first hand review as below
Positives:
Walking distance to market (without carrying a baby) 15 mins but not after sunset
Excellent veg food, variety was good.
club room was spacious
room service was prompt
Drawbacks
The reception person (name withheld) was not at all warm and made us feel we were not wanted there.
The check in was as per rules (10 am) even though we arrived with a baby at 6 in the morning.
Check out was very prompt they reminded us thrice to leave their hotel.
No view from the hotel rooms, continouos dripping of water from the windows which disturbed our sleep (donot choose room 305)
At check out the reception promptly put our bags in the waiting cab without informing us and the cabby left to drop someone with our bags (and purse). The most precious thing in the bag was the baby's milk which the loaders conviently dumped in the van.
It is definitely not a child friendly hotel, no electric kettle provided in the room, hot water was only till 10 am in the morning, they refused to boil the milk for the baby and insisted on buying their milk which was half milk and half water
I would recommend this place as it was clean and well kept if you are not travelling with a baby
Overall Mahableshwar was a pleasant place to visit in the rains :)

Stayed in Saket Plaza for 2 nights in the month of December 2013 and found it pretty ordinary hotel.
Even though check-in time was 10am, they kept me waiting up to 10.45. i waited almost 2 hours outside the hotel with my small kid. the receptionist was not responding properly to my requests.
No hot water after 10 am. requested few times for hot water, but hot water never came.
Ordinary staffs in the hotel. only staffs in the restaurant were nice that also 1 or 2. all the other people were mechanical and unprofessional.
Foods were o.k.
I feel cheated by by paying this much amount for very ordinary service.
Regards

This is a great hotel, I stayed here for 3 days and service is more than I bargained for, first of all let me just say it out loud, food is excellent, me and my wife sometimes shuffled our tour schedule just to accommodate their buffet timing so that we can have the excellent taste.
Staff is very courteous, I didn't inquire about early check-in but reached Mahabaleshwar 3 hours before check-in time, plan was to do sight-seeing till the check-in time however they accommodated the early check-in and also every other request I put forward, their tea is excellent which was something I had hard time finding while travelling,
They have a small swimming pool, but it is sufficient, the temperature in Mahabaleshwar was excellent at this time(11-14 April) neither too hot nor too cold, they promptly arrange for standard stuff you request for, since it is 1 km from market the cab charges were also OK, Taxi service in Mahabaleshwar is almost standardized with 3-4 hours tour price set by taxi association, it costs Rs 100 to get to market from hotel but if you fancy you can walk, they have a machan and an excellent view in night.
again, food was amazing.

Likes:
.staff especially @ the dining area are very courteous & humble.
.nice play area for Kidd's.
Dislikes:
.only veg restaurant with Jain food most of the time & also outside food is not allowed even in rooms so for non- vegetarians this is a no go place as thr r no other restaurants also in the neighborhood. Also breakfast menu is very limited.
. Check-out time is 8am where as their breakfast time starts at 8.30am. come-on this is a tourist destination n how can you ask people on vacation to wake up early in the morning n start packing ur bags to leave so early.we were travelling with our 7 month old kid so had asked for late check-out hence they gave me 1hr relaxation.
. Over priced: the club room looks like an local lodge, dull interiors, very small & old styled bathroom, no tea pot in the room, no proper quilt/duvet (woolen blanket with bed sheet on one side was provided), hot water in bathroom only for 3hrs. They charged me 5k+ for this & I've seen many other places provide much better facilities at this price in mahabaleshwar.
Overall this place is ok for pure veg people but not a good option for everyone else, was very disappointed with my stay.
