Cavala must be your next stop “when in Goa” Cavala exuberates class with simplicity. An Old Portuguese house converted into a hotel with every corner so tastefully and meticulously done and utmost priority given to cleanliness and hygiene. Their very hospitable staff will go that extra mile to make you feel at home. Kudos to the captain of the Ship “Marius” who makes sure to bring everything together to make your experience a memorable one. Jeremy and Moonira
Cavala is where everyone goes on a Friday night. The setting is old world charm. The live music by Tidal Wave makes everyone groove. This is a great place to shake a leg while enjoying your drinks. The only issue is that the food menu is limited so either have dinner and go here or be prepared to choose from the short menu. Shabnum helped us with table booking, Zubair took care of food and drinks ordering. Overall, do Cavala on Fridays for a good time.
Stayed for 2 nights... it was like I had paid money to get bad suffered... Frequent electricity interruptions, A/C didnt work properly... Lazy staff, have responded slowly.., staff will behaved in a way that they were the guests there, not us... Next time i am not going to prefer this resort... And won't suggest to my friends tooo.. Don't stay here guys... if you want to waste your money, it's your's wish....
Experience was not good, Though Ambiance is ok but Hotel Rooms have Regular Electric Failure. Hotel Guests are not given priority in Friday parties organized every week by the Resort. Outside Guests were given more preference .We were provided with just an standing Table without sitting arrangements..Though Tables with chairs & stools were available. Standing for 2 to 3 hrs w/o seats even though our bills was more than 6k like other outside guests... It was quite frustrating to get preference like we were from another world.
Bery bad experience, management is money oriented, no respect for guests, own rules.. Staff is also very arrogant like management, they don’t know how to treat guests well.. Not worth staying for the money you will pay.. I booked stay for 3 nights, changed this hotel after one night due to bad experience.
I would say I do not prefer this one when I visit Goa next time as we experienced frequent power outage and delayed response to the service, and the hospitality is very bad. They say the can manhandle the guest if they do not oblige to the rules and if we get angry on it , we are told to checkout. They think they are superior to the guests and should follow when needed. Outsider other than guests are not allowed for a minute. Ambiance is not great to the the cost of the hotel. Staff do not maintain a sober behaviour and show parity among guests. Better they should learn what hospitality is. And dont get fooled by reviews it is easy to buy reviews now a days.
Well the staff is quite good. As usual. But beware. To attend Friday’s one needs to reserve a table. We tried. Response was no reservation as they were full but pls do come to see if we can be accommodated. Well we reach at 8.20 pm. Empty tables. We get a place. And then comes the punch line They charge ₹2 k per head for men & that is redeemable at the bar. Service from Bar is self service. It’s not on the table. Food is served on the table. Well one respects the rules a place frames. But this actually is no way to welcome guests. Extortion is the word which comes to my mind. In my experience when such instances start the downhill journey of any place happens. And downhill is fast. Hope better sense prevails. Hope the owners park their greed to make money on hold. So before anyone ventures on a Friday night, be prepared to be subjected to extortion.…
Served welcome drinks on arrival at reception, a good experience. Located close to town (so-called happening place) and baga beach. Calm atmosphere with natural looks, plants & greeneries all over resort made the surroundings more attractive. Beer bottles used as plants & road access borders. One can enjoy the drink in bar area (must visit) with live piano in daytime and evening especially during weekends is attractive & high on demand. Visited in Mar 2021 just before 2nd wave of pandemic for two nights. Wish to visit again in the future. Room service boys are good and stay with my little kid and these guys are helped to bring hot water on demand even during late night. Don’t expect any good view from the window – it’s only the movements of the vehicles and advised to close it in late afternoon for mosquito & insects. Swimming pool is not at the main resort and it’s in the opposite side of the resort. Appreciate Mrs. Priyanka for her support.…

The Cavala Seaside resort is located a short walk from beautiful Baga Beach. This charming hotel is like a little oasis. Set in the Center of a lively beach town amongst green palm trees. The pool is refreshing on a warm Goan afternoon. The Rooms are clean and spacious.. ours had a very large deck,27 rooms in total. Our delicious breakfasts were included with unlimited cappuccinos. The staff in the office were always very helpful and accommodating. The servers in the morning were pleasant and could not do enough for us. A special “thank you” to Wilson and Roshasaen for their kind attention to our requests. Enjoy your stay at the Cavala!
