I visited Amara Grand Baga last week in a group of 50 people and stayed there for 4 days. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The best thing about the place is their great hospitality and a wonderful staff. Be it the waiters or the reception, everybody was very helpful and welcoming. The food served at the buffet was delicious.Every meal was scrumptiousa and a special thanks to Mr. Dogra for that. I also liked the location of the hotel. Baga, Calungate and Candolim beach are very near to the hotel with baga being at a walking distance.
The market around the hotel is your typical goa market with great shops and even two tibetan markets. A beautiful lawn and probably a bigger property space would have been the cherry on the cake. But nevertheless you have a great experience and that too at such a stellar price.
I would highly recommend the place for your next stay

I visited the property in feb with my wife. This was first time i visited goa and the choosing Amara grand baga to stay was the best decision i made. It is at walking distance from Baga beach and buffet served in breakfast and dinner is awsome , what makes it much better is the courteous staff and excellent room service. I would recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for a good stay / food at reasonable cost.

Had been here for 4 nights and it's a decent place. Baga beach is 1.2kms away from the hotel and right in front of the hotel you get bikes on rent.

The overall experience was good just that they were not cooperative enough to give us extra blanket.

The hotel restaurant if good and the staff there was very friendly.

Exorbitant Rate charged by Amara Grand Baga Goa Booking Team claiming that hotel is 4 Star Propertv. Had booked 2 Rooms at this property 3 weeks in advance during Christmas holidays. The Hotels Amenities are not worth even 2.5 Star... going by the Comfort/Hygiene/Delux Services/Facilities/Design/Quality/Room Amenities. Although the staff at Hotel was excellent in service. As things were provided only after being asked for. But the Back office booking team is fooling customers by claiming it’s a 4 star and charged exorbitant Rates 3 times more than the normal rate per room of this level. Current Rate per room is 3074 with breakfast. But the booking team is looting by charging 9000 per room per night during holiday season by falsely claiming about its 4 star Amenities. Regret the decision of staying at this property and will never recommend to friends n family.

Pretty decent hotel. You get the value of your money.
Tidy, organized, and near the beach (approx 1km).
They have a small but clean swimming pool, just the way I like it😊
You'll get a kettle and complimentary drink in your room. Room have a closet, safety vault, hairdryer, mini-fridge, ac, and ceiling fan if you opt for it.
No hot water in the shower 😔.
Basic toiletries, but no dental care.
No complimentary breakfast, they charge you but at a very reasonable price for a satisfying breakfast buffet.
Food attendants know what good customer service is. They're welcoming, friendly, and attend to your needs. Professionals in hospitality, which I wish the front desk had. A smile and a welcome greeting are good for the soul, isn't it?☺ A small conversation to guests while check-in is in process won't hurt as well.
But overall, it's a nice stay. Will recommend it to others.

We stayed for 2 nights at Amara Grand Baga from 2nd to 4th November 2021. When you arrive ,first they give you a rule sheet in the reception before giving you the room. They explain the rules in a very rude manner and every violation of rule will attract some fine. This just spoils the whole mood. The front office staffs should learn how to smile and greet a guest when they arrive for the first time. To get the password of wifi is also a very tiring job at this property. They keep on giving some random voucher numbers and most of the time it will show it is already in use. So the guest will get frustrated as you have to call the reception for the same everytime. These days when wifi is so much easily available I do not understand why it is so painful only for this hotel. The breakfast is also pathetic ,very minimalistic options. I had paid close to 11K for two nights and trust me you will get much much better options with this price range. The only plus is that it is close to Baga beach approximately one kilometre. Not at all recommend.

Polite staff

Cons
Stinky bathroom
Definitely not like what it looks like in pictures
Worst food ever( roadside stall food would be a lot better)
Very bad WiFi.

I am not sure if I can trust the reviews again.

Hi Satyagola, Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to review our Hotel. Customer satisfaction is our priority. We have been appreciated by all corporate clients and individual guests visiting the hotel serving tea coffee from the vending machine used by Cafe Coffee Day, Barista, etc. Still, we have options open for kitchen-made ginger tea, cardamom tea, etc. The same was done for the group on request. Regarding charges of lost key Rs.1000 same was conveyed to the group coordinator during check-in as the key is an electronically generated key not easily available. Hence we always inform the group to deposit the key card at the reception when going out same was not responded to by the guest as they did not deposit the key and lost it. 2 hours of the liquor package was supposed to be from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. It started at 8.15 pm due to delay from the guest side and the music continued till 10.30 pm which is beyond the government stipulated timing of 10 pm. Guests were charged for beer which they purchased at the pool bar after the DJ got over. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused. We eagerly await your return to our resort in the not too distant future. Until then, have a great time. Regards, Ashok Sharma General Manager

I booked this hotel in March end 2023.
Cons:-
1.) very rude and unwelcoming Reception staff
2.) Once you checked out and waiting in the hotel, you are not known to them, no service or water will be provided. I had argument with receptionist for the same for one small request.
3.) Very early checkout timings 11 am. and they will keep you calling to checkout at the earliest.
4.) You have to walk almost 1 km to reach baga beach.
Pros:-
1.) Breakfast and food is very tasty.
2.) Clean rooms
3.) Room service staff is very good (Except receptionists, they should be fired)

In a nutshell, you can really get better options in Baga at this price range.

gentle reminder to the owner:- please groom your reception staff to be more welcoming and polite.
