I traveled with a guide I know for my stay in zanzibar. He booked this hotel for me and upon seeing the photos I was really excited. The good things in the hotel are the view, the beach and the pool (which was a little dirty but not enough to prevent me from going in). The beds are really comfortable...

Stayed here for a conference along with all other conferees. The rooms were clean, and my (but not all rooms') shower worked, but there was no soap, no towel and no toilet paper in the bathroom. The disco next door to my cottage blasted loud music on Tuesday night from 9PM until 4 AM. Other nights were more subdued, but...

Wow, so where to start? We were in Jambiani and decided to stay there for a night and the owner Haji was very accommodating and hospitable. He immediately helped us and got us a very nice, clean and spacious room. He was very friendly and helpful, he even got us discounts for our boat trip and arranged many things. Although...

the good point is the pool and the closeness to the beach. The rest is ridicolous. Big rooms, but poor structure, old, the bathroom was stinking like heel, like a public toilet open air.. the shower was unbelievable. Fridge was not working. Aircon not manageable. I'm sure you can find much better structure around here with a small adjustment.. not...

I was booked at this hotel by a local company that I had invited me for a focus group meeting. I stayed for 4 night and was put in a bungalow facing the ocean. The room was just basic with a king bed and AC. The first thing I felt when entered the room was this smell of humidity typical...

Not so luxurious, room has basic conditions, mosquito nets, bathroom, but the decoration is just plain. Good location to get to the sea and is inside the village. But a little difficult to get a decent dinner nearby since the restaurant inside the hotel seems to have no customs. We stayed in a triple room with $70, pretty fair for...

The only positive things are the position (on the beach, but quite far from the things to see and on the opposite side of the island than the most beautiful places in Zanzibar) and the cordiality of the staff even if they're pretty slow (as everywhere in Zanzibar). Buffet for breakfast and dinner really poor. Awful condition of the rooms:...

I stayed here with my two teens from the 25th of Dec to 1st of Jan. My kids enjoyed what was offered: pool, wifi, a/c, tv, mosquito nets. Haleed, the "manager" was very accommodating and even drove back to the airport to help us book new plane tickets when we missed the original flight. The staff were friendly and knew...

Didn't stay here but came to eat one night where we were the only people eating and the meal wasn't great - maybe we were just too early at 7.00 as the staff were still eating their food in the dining room. Great soup and we were looking forward to the main but it didn't live up to expectations.

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights out of our 6 nights in Jambiani and despite the uninspiring hotel name, we loved it! We got a great discounted price after a bit of bargaining and were given the choice of rooms. Our room was spotless, had 2 double beds, fridge, AC, fan, hot water shower and was cleaned...

“Ensure the windows lock! I looked out the back window on our last day to find out that it was NOT locked and that it didn't lock. Luckily, the resort is safe. Finally, if you have a room closer to the reception, you get better wifi. Especially, when you want to have Skype conversations.”
