I'm just back from 5 days at the resort. Overall, it was a good stay. Rooms are clean and spacious, although slightly lacking in amenities (i.e. no fridge, limited wifi etc.). Jetty bar is a fantastic spot for lunch, drinks etc. The beach is incredibly beautiful, a great place to spend many hours walking. Monkeys in the trees near the...

We loved this hotel during our 5-day stay in Zanzibar. Because it wasn't holiday season, it was very quiet in the hotel, but this was very good as the staff was very helpful, relaxed and friendly. We even got a free late check-out the day of our departure. The food is great and the view in the restaurant is amazing...

We were staying at a hotel nearby and devided to have lunch at the jetty bar, a pier well in the turquoise ocean water. The service was good, with a friendly staff ready to accomodate any request. We had a seafood platter and few drinks. Awesome. Great location for a drink or a meal. A bit more expensive than other...

I came quite a few times having dinner in Spice Island, and I've never been disapointed. The food menu is very diversified, all my choices were always so tasty and well coocked. The staff is so friendly. Very attentive to any request. We experienced movie nights and music nights. Very appreciable. We met Liv, the restaurant manager from Israel. She...

We had a fantastic family holiday here. The bungalows are really well designed for families with kids and we loved the pool area. The housekeeping keeps the rooms nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food served in the restaurant was average and a bit "samey" but it is a remote location so they do quite well...

Beautiful hotel, nice decorated apartments and the jetti bar on the ocean is nice for evening cocktails. The restaurant hall with the ocean view is bautiful and the food is delicious! Once a week is a BBQ around the pool, the atmosphere is so romantic and unique. The staff is totally friendly and have always a big smile in their faces!...

Dear Katharina F. Thanks a lot for review us here on Tripadvisor. We would like to say thank you for staying with us and we really appreciate your warm words about our little paradise. It is right when you say that during the sun downer time the best spot for a cocktail is our 100 meter long Jetty Bar. We...

Rooms were well equipped, pool was lovely, beach spectactular. Staff was attentive, but not pushy. Great ambience. Dinner menu is very limited, lots of fish, not much vegitarian fare. Expensive taxi's to and from Stonetown. Do not expect any shopping, ATM's etc. nearby.

The spacious bungalows are nestled in lush garden grounds. The rooms are comfortably furbished and very clean. Reception and staff are very friendly and attentive, the food selection was plenty and very tasty. Special evening events, i.e. live music, African dance groups and local food tastings made the stay even more special. Trips to Stone town, spice gardens and boat...
