Hello, thanks for the nice hospitality and the great location recently. What was not so nice was to be named as a pig (cochon) from a french guest/daughter of the house, maybe for the only reason that we were from Switzerland/ Germany. I don’t regard myself as a pig, maybe this is subjective from my side however. Sure, if you...

the lodge is build on the cliff, you will listen to the waves day and night. we used to naturally wake up early and watch the down from our balcony before going for a large and fresh breakfast. I would recommend to get the full board as the food is great and everyday there are fresh new options to try....

The location was great; the staff were helpful; the food was fresh and tasty; and there were enough activities, both on Nosy Komba and on neighbouring islands, to keep everyone entertained for a week or two.. On a slightly less positive note, the rooms are in need of a bit of a face-lift and for a relatively small investment, including...

We had a fantastic stay here for a few nights in April 2014. Nosy Komba is like a little paradise island and on approach and as you draw closer the outline of the huts becomes visible against the coastline. It's a really special little place with only a handful of huts so you get a personal experience. The staff were...

Its the best place to relax and forget about everything. This lodge has the best manager, the best personel and definitely has the best chef I have ever come accross. The manager assisted us in English, which was great because Madagascar's population is mostly French. He arranged great excursions and took us to an island where I learned to snorkel...

We were on our honeymoon and like the title says it is unforgettable :). Staff was wonderful and all the time we felt like among the friends. Room was very nice and clean with terrace from which we could see opened sea with all surrounding islands - beautiful view. All the food was very tasty and beautifully prepared and served....

What a great way to start our Malagasy holiday! Maki Lodge is a little gem perched on top of a rocky promontory on the north side of the island. It’s small (only 5 bungalows), relaxed and super-friendly. The rooms are elegant and simple, each with a stunning private balcony that virtually hangs over the sea at high tide. (And cunningly...
