Arrived late.. Sign told us which room we we're in. Walked into our room, was greeted with a cheese platter and wine that was delicious, and they had turned the heater on so nice and cosy. It was a very relaxing stay with breakfast provisions provided. A, beautiful area to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. There is not... More

We booked 3 nights with Summerfield and it was great! We were from Melbourne and only had 1 driver and we did not like far drives so we thought we would split the drive to Grampians and stay at Avoca. The place is about 1 hr from Grampians which is a bit far but it is far from the hustle... More

The Studio Apartments are located on the grounds of the lovely Summerfield Winery. The accommodation was a spotless and well equipped one bedroom apartment with full ktichen facilities and dining area. The separate bedroom had two single beds, while in the main area there was a comfortable queen size bed with electric blanket. This made it perfect for travelling with... More

The natural surroundings, excellent red wine, cheese platter and basic amenities in the room were a real plus. Staff was very nice. Had a very nice relaxing stay and natural surroundings that we had never experienced before. The minus points - far from Halls Gap, no phone connectivity (Optus) and thought we will stay in a Winery.

The studio apartment is basic, clean but no couch so no comfortable seating to watch TV. Close to a number of wineries, two of which had sparkling wine that won Gold in Paris, beating the French champagnes. The grounds are a bit bare but the cheese welcome pack was very good. Close to Stawell, Halls Gap and the Grampians which... More

Stayed here on a package deal for three nights. Great little winery with amazing wines and hospitality to match. Rooms were clean, well presented and quiet. The welcome was warm and helpful with most amenities catered for. Would highly recommend if looking for an out of the way getaway.

Summerfield winery is a hidden gem making outstanding quality red wine. Their standard 2012 cabernet is my current favourite although their reserve shiraz and cabernet wines are spectacular. The self-contained cottages are spacious and well appointed and are an excellent base to explore the Australian Pyrenees wine region. If you want noise and plenty of restaurants this region is not... Comfortable but we were expecting more when it is called a studio apartment. I am not complaining as we would stay there again but one thing missing two lounge chairs that we could sit in comfortably and watch the television. The service was good, the wine nice disappointed no room service on the Saturday morning to make beds change towels... More

A disappointing stay in this working winery. While winery staff were very friendly there is minimal services to guests in accommodation. The room was clean at the start of my visit but it was basic with no windows in main living area which could be left opened overnight. No phone & no internet, so difficult to plan a schedule for... We didn't stay here but couldn't find an attraction category to lodge our comments. Cecilia was such a wonderful cellar host and she made us so welcome. I loved the retro quirky tables that had local papers you could sit and read while you sampled the wonderful wine. I don't eat cheese so Cecilia organised a mini serve of cheese... More
