The sleepy little fishing hotel was comfortable and clean. They allow dogs and the beds were very comfortable. The price was more than fair. The only negative was there was a slight step down into the room which is unexpected. They didn't get around to cleaning our room but we did have a do not disturb sign on it in...

Very small, shabby and dirty. Housekeeping didn't do our room once and had to get them to clean under bed -dirty towel & muck. Room too hot . A/C, TV & extractor fan didn't work. An endurance to stay.

We had a superior room at the front. The room was fine and the patio was a bit cramped for 6 but worked out OK. Our friends were put in ocean view rooms that overlooked the parking lot. No private balconies there. But we shared ours. Rooms 211-214 are recommended. I found the young fellow at the front desk seemed...

Lund is a beautiful and relaxing place to visit. The hotel is "ok" but would have expected a bit better for the price. The rooms are quite small and get very hot but the a/c is VERY noisy. The view from the window was very pretty but there is no balcony as such, it's more of a communal walkway (motel...

Having stayed at the hotel 15+ years ago for a wedding I wasn't sure what to expect now that I'm a bit older and a more picky traveler. But I have to say, for a small and somewhat older hotel, they could have acted like the 2 1/2 star they probably are but here are two examples of what makes...

If you plan to stay here, you should know that it is hotel policy to put drunk bar patrons into hotel rooms, without supervision. We spent a sleepless, anxious night listening to the drunk next door and to her "visitors" who pounded on the door until 5:30am. There are no hotel staff on site overnight. There is an emergency number...

A hidden gem of high quality ambience in such a wonderful peaceful location. The extraordinary service so compliments the beautiful setting and the 125 yr history of this magnificent spot for a weekend getaway or anniversary ( such as ours). The price is a little higher than other hotels in Powell River but the value far, far exceeds the nominal...

all hotels in Powell River were full. Absolutely no room service for us night shift guys working at the mill, we were told housekeeping leaves at 3. My window screen was already broken and was jimmy rigged with tape and they charged me $30 for breaking it. Nothing was ever mentioned about the Costco continental breakfast. Hotel staff had no...

We were doing a little tour of the Sunshine Coast and decided to go to Lund and spend the night at this hotel. We took the water taxi over to Savary Island so decided to book a room instead of driving back down the Coast. We were very pleased with the room as it had a large balcony that overlooked...
