We spent a night at this historic fortified manor house tucked well away from the madding crowd. We were given a warm welcome by owners Sue and Dave and were shown our bedroom which was in one of the wings of this ancient house. My girlfriend and I visited for a weekend, staying on a Friday and Saturday night and had a wonderful time. Sue and David (S&D) were charming; the perfect hosts. They have beautifully restored the c13th century medieval manor house and their eclectic style is reflected in every room. Ten of us stayed here begining of September for Friday & Saturday night. Sue & David were excellent hosts and cooked an excellent evening meal for us all on the Saturday. We visited Llanmihangel house for our annual get-together with friends and enjoyed a sit down meal for 12. The house is amazing and steeped in history. we had a girlie night here and it was a magical experience, we had such a fantastic time chatting around the open fire after a fabulous home cooked meal and sipping wine. this place is outstanding and full of history. the owners are a wonderful couple and are great hosts. i can t wait to come back with my hubby!
