Stayed for two nights with some friends for a send off before i move to Canada. Will and Brian were fantastic hosts and made is feel very welcome, even baking us a lemon drizzle cake for our arrival ! The lodges were clean and comfortable and we even managed to see a pine marten despite not being particularly quiet! The...

Hi Dougie. Thanks for the great review! We're really glad you had a good time with your friends here and that you got to relax for a while before your big departure. It was nice to meet all of you and chat a bit, and Henry the dog enjoyed it too, I'm sure. We wish you the best of luck...

We had a girls weekend here. We chose this place because it was away from the hustle and bustle and had plenty of outdoor walks. It is a beautiful setting with acces to the loch. The lodge was clean and warm and was just what we were looking for. We knew we were a bit away from shops and pubs...

Thanks, Heather, for the lovely review! We really enjoyed having you and your friends here and are happy you found it so relaxing. Not much we could do about the rugby, alas, but we were rooting for you. We'd love to see you again if you find yourself in these parts. All the best to y'all, as we say where...

My girlfriend and I stayed in Bramble Lodge for two absolutely incredible nights. Brian and Will (the new owners) were incredibly accommodating and helpful, suggesting walks in the local area and making some top notch lemon drizzle cake for us (despite my inability to get their names right on two separate occasions). The location is breathtaking and you can genuinely...

We booked a last minute break to visit Great Glen Lodges over new years eve and the early part of January and was overjoyed that we could get a lodge. We have stayed previously but its now under new ownership which we was amazed was still fantastic. We had a clean lodge upon arrival, freshly made mince pies and overall...

Thanks so much for the kind review! We certainly enjoyed having you and your family here and hope to welcome you back sometime in the near future. We've had a fantastic time ourselves taking over the lodges and hosting all the nice folks who come through our little corner of the Highlands. Best wishes to you.

Spent a few nights in Rowan Lodge at the start of the school summer holidays. Enjoyed the views (the loch changes each day), walks, trips out (Nevis Range gondola, Loch Ness, Fort Augustus) and the fishing on the loch, where we had some fun with some small 'jack' pike that Ian put us on to. Simple lure fishing down near...

We stayed at Heather Lodge for a few days and what a treat it was! We had a lovely welcome from Claire and she gave us loads of hints and tips for the area, which proved invaluable. The lodge itself was in the most beautiful location, well equipped and comfortable. We would highly recommend this lodge for the perfect Scottish...

Here we stayed at this beautiful location for 3 nights. Great place. Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Great views. Ideal location to use as a base to visit other locations too. Just watch the gas and electricity bills. Knowing that we were going to be billed extra for these luxuries we took the metre readings as soon as we walked in. And...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Great Glen Lodges offer quality self-catering accommodation in a peaceful and scenic Highlands location. You'll find our waterfront property nestled between Fort William, Loch Ness and Fort Augustus, within the Great Glen and Lochaber, the UK's centre for outdoor activities. Each of our five detached timber lodges enjoys a spectacular panoramic view, so that right at your front window you can take in loch and mountain vistas. The main gate lies just on the Great Glen Way, from where you can take advantage of a direct route to two Munros or find the area's many less challenging walks. At the bottom of our property, you'll find private access to the Lodges' own little pebbled beach. We take pride in providing a slow and quiet getaway as well as excellent service for our guests, many of whom return time after time. And we are very dog and pet friendly!
