Please know that it worth travelling all the way from London for Lynn's bread and butter pudding. Seriously - her puddings are outstanding. Otherwise, the hotel maintains a really high standard of comfort and service.

Popular with fisherfolk so you probably need to put your child's name down at birth if you wish to stay and fish here but they are (mostly not around at lunchtime). Friendly staff, excellent freshly prepared bar lunch menu - the homemade soups and sandwiches are superb.

Stopped for lunch a couple of times in the week we were in the area. Both times arrived wet and muddy having been outdoors in the Scottish summer and both times made very welcome. Bar meals were excellent (particularly recommend the venison casserole) and very generous portions. Only downside was I didn't leave room for afters. Next time ....

Stopped off on the way home for a cream tea. Beautiful day and we were able to sit outside in the sun - with no midges! Fresh scones, clotted cream and lovely tea made for a great lazy afternoon getting sunburnt. Definitely worth a visit. Thanks

Stayed here one night during a cross-country horse riding trip in May 2016. Wonderful rooms, clean, comfortable and modern. Breakfast was to die for. Friendly staff. I would have gladly stayed longer!

My good friend was booked in here doing the Cape Wrath Trail, so I decided to surprise him and pitch up the night he arrived. I had already decided to camp, so had the means for a comfy kip and did not require a room. I did, however, partake of beers (Loch Ness Brewery, Drumnadochit) which were excellent, as well...

We have booked up again for 3 separate weeks next year. This hotel is a must for anyone visiting the highlands. Beautiful position on the river Oykel, just below the falls. Excellent food, including wonderful breakfasts and packed lunches. Very friendly atmosphere. Start your evening in the pub bar with the locals and fishermen before moving through for a first-class...

Places to stop in this area are few and far between, but Oykel Bridge has new owners and they are making this fishing hotel a good place to stop for a break and tea. The staff are very accommodating and nothing seems too much for them. The snakes and teas are also great value. I hope they are successful as...

We have visited twice this year, each time a wonderfull welcome from the staff, the food was excellent, all freshly cooked , delicious roasts for dinner, the rooms were comfortable tho our room in the wing was slightly dated but we were told they are going to upgrade them in the winter months. I would highly recommend this hotel for...
