Guest house chosen for convenient location close to Birmingham and motorway access. Arrived after dark, directions good and found easily and access as given. This guest house is unattended,so no staff on site. Single bedroom comfortable, bed good and slept well. Bathroom is shared, there are 4 rooms upstairs,so this could mean that the bathroom is not accessible when needed. Kitchen well stocked...

This was a nice and clean guest house, however, the set up of the Guest House was a little odd. A few days before my stay I was emailed with the code for the main door and informed my key was in the door. There were no staff at the Guest House, no one to check you in or monitor...

Although we are not far away form Birmingham Airport we decided to get a lift the evening before and taxi to the Airport as wasnt much difference to parking charges. We booked as it was close and good value. Was emailed before hand on how to let ourselves in and which room to go to. Place very clean and whole...

Clean, comfortable and exceptional value for money. As I was going to be late checking in I was emailed with instructions and useful information, really helpful. Why pay double for a chain hotel? Highly recommended

Very clean accommodation, good off road parking and everything you want from an unattended property . Couldn't fault it and good self service selection for breakfast. I didn't meet the owner but if is Janice she sounded very polite and helpful .would definitely use James house again if I need a room in Coleshill.

Kitchen and breakfast facilities were second to none. So much to choose from and help yourself. Will definitely be back xx Thank you

All good! Great space and facilities for what we required. Good options for breakfast. Clean. Slightly dated but that didn't put us off- it was homely. Would go back for sure. We were staying in the James suite which included a double bed single bed lounge and bathroom.
