When I arrived at this hotel, I had been feeling really unwell. I had also been on the road with business for a week and was travelling with a huge suitcase. I was really unhappy to learn my room was on the next floor and there was no lift. However, I did not have to say anything as the receptionist...

Spent a week at this venue, where the staff are simply brilliant. Good old fashion customer service at its best. The venue is secure and very quiet. The grounds are well maintained and the facilities are good. It's situated close to the NEC and the food is excellent.

My wife and I recently stayed at the hotel whilst visiting family in the local area and found the amenities to be very comfortable. We ate in the restaurent and greatly enjoyed our meal and were made to feel very welcome. We enjoyed the bar and communal areas which were comfortable and offered a variety of drinks and the food...

Tired and dated rooms, the radiator in the bathroom wouldn't turn off and so it was too hot in the room. If you opened the windows you could hear road noise. The bath tub plug didn't seal so the water ran away. Towels were thin and old. The food was poor quality, tasteless and unappetising. Breakfast was nothing special, cheap...

First time stay was ruined by inconsiderate guests leaving their dogs in their cars overnight. The poor things were barking for most of the night and I think the Hotel should stop this practise as it is very annoying. I understand that dogs are allowed in the rooms so why do owners think it is OK to disturb other guests?...

Very nice staff, very nice food, very nice settings , my only negative comment would be that the rooms need revamping .An easy stop over and close to the nec easy to find and not in a built up area very peacefully and lovely breakfast .

Lovely hotel. Staff welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good with lots of choice - full English, cereals, etc. My room was very spacious as was the bathroom. Spotlessly clean and very peaceful and quiet. Evening meal was good - nothing plain on the menu but the food was tasty. Would definitely recommend.

We took my mother for a special occasion and the food, service and ambience were all superb. I particularly liked the Beef tornado which was perfectly cooked and a good sized portion while my guests all enjoyed their choices.

After several business trips in the area over the last few months I decided to try a new place , I settled on the Grimstock as it is close to where I'm working and close to Coleshill. About 9 times out of 10 when I stay in a hotel I am usually envious of the style and decor and wish...

Found this a really nice hotel. Great food and a very picturesque hotel. It is clear to see why it is a popular wedding location. Whilst the room decor was not the most modern they were very clean and well maintained. Free wifi was great. I will certainly consider staying here again when I'm next in the area on business.
