Stayed here from Friday 3rd March to Sunday 5th March and my room was a double room with en suite bathroom. When I entered the hotel, I loved the staircase leading up to my room (no lifts) However when I entered my room, all I saw was dirt and dust underneath the beds, rubbish in bins and under bed, a...

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in the Victoria suite. £90 in total. This hotel is being run on a skeleton staff but they are very friendly, courteous and hard working. This isn't a typical hotel, in that there is no daily clean of rooms and you have to make your own beds. However, if you ask for...

If you want a comfy bed in the town centre then that's about the only box this hotel ticks.. the place has not been renovated in years and is falling apart. Cleanliness and hygiene are not high on their agenda, the hotel is dirty, in very poor condition and smells. The only good thing was that the bed was comfy...

Upon arrival I was quite glad to be in the knowledge that by the time I would get in to the bed later that evening I would have had a few alcoholic beverages. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, the toilet seat wasn't attached, not even a toilet roll holder. The bed dipped badly in the middle so that your feet...

I would have given it a higher rating as it's a perfectly acceptable place to stay if you're away on business however my room was never hoovered and when I asked about it I was told it was because I had tracked mud into the hotel. While I completely accept that I had done this, it was dry white powder...

Our room was disgusting. The place was filthy. Our friends did n't use their shower - It was too dirty. The room has added on wiring and plumbing all over the place. The hotel needs a new owner with resources and willing tro invest in what couyld be a very nice boutique hotel. I dread to think why the kitchen...

Royal Victoria & Bull Hotel was my first hotel in UK, so I can't compare with other hotels, but the place of hotel was really very great. In front of Guildhall Museum, one hundred meters from the Castle Park and Castle, fives minutes walk from the train station and in the main street of Old Town, full of bars and...

Stayed for four nights in August and was very satisfied with our stay. We were slightly apprehensive due to some of the previous reviews but, because the main purpose of our visit was to attend a wedding at the Cathedral and the location seemed excellent for this requirement, we decided we still wished to stay here. The hotel is under...
