We had one night in a family room in November and we had a great time at Cintra. We were in room No 9 and had a wonderful view of the bandstand, gardens, Viking Bay and the sea. In a fantastic position, Cintra is a large roomy B&B and we were met by Les who carried our heavy case up...

Just returned from a long weekend as part of a large family group of mixed ages. We had three rooms 4, 8 & 9. All rooms were very large with double beds, single beds or bunks (room 4, a sofa) and fabulous sea views. The hotel is perfectly placed across from the beach, bandstand and main promenade. The family run...

We were met by the owner as we pulled in to the Car Park. He carried our bags up to the room for us, explained what needed to be explained regarding keys, breakfast etc and left us to it. The room, although not huge was perfectly functional with en suite bathroom, flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities....

I like the fact breakast is set, as it saves time, If you want to change a breakfast option, then all you have to do it ask, Les is attentive, friendly and helpful. My room was warm if...

Firstly if there was the option to give this B&B 3.5 stars I would have done. I just don't think for myself personally it deserved 4 stars. The positives - 1. Fantastic location overlooking Viking Bay. 2. Good value for what you get. 3. Service is good. The negatives - 1. Wasn't given a chance to state what I did...

Karen and Les are very warm and welcoming. Breakfast is of a good size and often we do not need to eat again (properly) until evening. They have 2 single rooms which is great if you are (as we are) father and daughter travelling together. You can also tell them of any special diet requirements & those are catered for...

Stayed at the Cintra for a week. Les is lovley and after I asked for Mayonaise the first morning at breakfast, it was waiting for me the rest of the week. Breakfast was nice and filling. If you didnt want something you only had to say the same for if you wanted more. Rooms are clean, even the single room...

Absolutely spotless rooms, and I mean spotless. We had a large room with a great view out to sea. The owner Les had a very relaxed manner, and made you feel extremely welcome. Nice breakfast with free parking at the rear.

The good points: the lovely position right next to the sea with good views from some of the rooms, the spotlessly clean bedrooms, the friendly manner of the proprietor (who didn't introduce himself) so I don't know his name Not so good: the feeling of being in a guest house from the 1970's (decor, smell). The use of inferior quality...
