The hotel always meets expectations, the staff are professional and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The restaurant is well organised, great food and friendly staff. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing, all courses were delicious, well presented and served with great wines. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The prices do not reflect the level of service and hospitality given, very good value for money. The position of the hotel is central to the amenities of Broadstairs, great walks along the coast, great history and lovely beaches.

We made a last minute decision to spend a night on the coast and chose the Yarrow as several friends had been and recommended it. We were not disappointed. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and well furnished. The location is easily accessible yet quiet and a short walk to the seafront. We also enjoyed the restaurant: the tasting menu was beautifully cooked and presented; breakfast was also freshly made and there was a nice choice on offer. But best of all was the excellent service by young and happy staff. Always smiling, knowledgeable about what they were serving and happy in their jobs. Although everyone was very busy with a full restaurant and a large family group event taking place, the service was flawless. Will definitely return.

A superb hotel. We stayed one night with friends and could not fault it. The staff were all very friendly, the evening meal and breakfast were amazing and it was great to see a busy hotel bar. The decor and cleanliness were top standard. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and enjoy the many beaches and coastal resorts in Thanet

We stayed at the Yarrow one night to celebrate our 35th Anniversary, we got upgraded to a Junior Suite. The seven course tasting menu with matching wines was stunning! The staff were very friendly. A great hotel, firmly recommended

My wife and I stayed at the Yarrow for 2 nights in a Suite which was very spacious comprising a lounge with flat screen tv, a bedroom also witha flat screen tv, a bathroom and a seperate cloakroom. It had efficient air conditioning which is unusual in a building of this age. The hotel is tastefully decorated well maintained and impeccably clean. Breakfast was excellent and efficiently served. Our stay was Sunday and Monday night when unfortunately, the restaurant was closed so we were unable to sample the Tasting Menu but I would imagine it is very good judging by the standards set by the rest of the hotel. We paid £10 per head for 1 hour exclusive use of the Spa which comprises a hot tub, sauna and steam room. The staff were pleasant and helpful, particularly Sophie on Reception. There is free parking very close to the entrance, and it is a 10 minute walk into Broadstairs.
