Stayed here during the recent fringe festival. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast. The front bar is full of local people who are very chatty. Rooms are basic but clean. Good location in the centre of the town with car parking at the rear. Would recommend for a short stay.

Stayed here with some friends recently. Had a lovely weekend. Plenty of food, the staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Huge Breakfasts which was an added bonus. Great little town with fun and friendly locals. Rooms were basic but spacious and most importantly clean. We will most definitely return.

I have no idea where the reviews across the page are talking about. The front of the hotel looks like a dark tacky pub with flashing light in the window?, the reception area and I presume it would be called a restaurant/bar as people were eating there was tired and looked grubby. The lady from the bar came through and...

Seeing we didn't have a reservation and needed to sleep 4 this hotel was convenient. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. However, the hotel is old. Our room was outdated, garbage in the trash bins, curtins weren't hung properly and a constant, dull tapping in the wall was hard to block out. We found it a bit pricey. We...

Walked into the hotel, the reception area is so warming and welcoming. Decor is amazing. Took the lift to the bedroom and was in for a shock Forget modern, the bedroom was cold, the walls could do with a lick of paint. The room furniture was basic. TV turned on, but the remote for the box had dead batteries. Kettle...

If you're looking for a tasty pub lunch on a Saturday afternoon, then Freddies, as it's known by the locals is the place to go. The staff are friendly, and the pints are tasty, and the cheese starter is very nice for a dinner. Visit the disco at night for a crazy night!

I have just returned to Glasgow having spent some time touring Ireland. My last three days were spent in Ballanimore staying at the Commercial and tourist hotel. This place I would recommend . Greedy the owner runs a good business the staff are pleasant and the food is perfectly cooked by the owner himself. I would also say the breakfast...

Stayed in the Commercial back in 2012, with my Partner! Over all Ballinamore is a lovely place as they say lovely Leitrim! Rooms are very basic within the hotel, if a elderly couple were to stay i would safely say they would not enjoy it as there is a local nightclub within the hotel. And as far the bar man...
