Location & atmosphere is perfect! Nearly all the staff are superb and can't do enough for you! Restaurant is amazing (we ate outside overlooking Florence). One waiter is arrogant and rude and mosquitos are a problem by the pool.

The surrounding is beautiful, but the hotel is very bad and overrated. Why? - The breakfast is really the worst we ever had in a hotel. - the swimming pool is closed in the end of may. I'm not sure about you, but we desperate needed a swimming pool when it was 25 degrees outside. - the pool bar is...

If you are looking for a hotel near Florence but outside all it's caos, and you have a car this hotel will be a perfect choice. You will be able to visit all the surroundings (Pisa, Livorno, Volterra...). All rooms are diferent decorated but the one we stayed at: "La Maison" was nicely decorated and completely comfortable. Breakfast buffet was...

The surroundings are very peaceful with a nice view over the city. We got a promotion therefore it was real value for money. I guess the rooms are a bit outdated and the bathroom decor had nothing to do with the rest of the room. Our air conditioner was not working and that was the only downside. If it wasn't...

The Villa Castiglione has a first class restaurant for dinner so there is no need to look for over booked touristy places in Florence - this is as good as it gets in a beautiful largely private dining room. The hotel is a conference center and is brilliantly designed - the bed fixtures to the bathroom tiles to the dishes...

very beautiful & nice place with convenient location near Florence. Very interesting design of the rooms with romantic atmosphere, the restaurant food is very-very tasty! the bell tower seeing from the room window was ringing and this also made additional authentic atmosphere. unfortunately the breakfast is rather poor - but this is fully compensated by other advantages as well as...

After a rally-like ride uphill towards Villa Castiglione, I had my enjoyment already. The metal gate opens slowly makes me feel like entering an elegant mansion. Choose wisely for your parking spot, you'll have a cool car to drive in the morning. Checking in in the afternoon, you can meet Kalun and Eleonora. They are both very responsible and helpful...

What a well-kept secret! Quite, stylish, quaint and peaceful. Just perfect in Florence and outside noisy busy city center. Old convent, little chapel, free parking and wifi, swimming pool. Very nice decoration and delicious breakfast.

We recently had a couple of nights at Villa Castiglione, which we used as a base from which to visit Florence. As some other reviewers have mentioned, it is hard to find. Our Tom Tom got completely confused. I think the problem is putting in the address as Impruneta. They should add coordinates on the hotel profile !! Once you...

I was in Villa Castiglione for a long week end. I recommend the hotel for the location, the rooms and the availability of the people, they are really nice and for sure i would go back there. But i have also to be objective about how to reach it.The hotel provides a shuttle bus from the hotel to the nearest...
