First time in my life I actually drove to a place and asked for a room, thanks Google! Affordable price and much nicer and more modern than the dumpy city-center "hotels" in Montilchino. Manger was nice, farm is beautiful, breakfast was decent. Town was five minute drive to the public parking lot. You're sacrificing nothing by staying outside of town,...

My husband and I spent a two week vacation travelling through Sicily, Venice, Tuscany, Umbria and Rome. We had every night booked except for one night. We decided to stay in Montalcino with the hopes of exploring some of those big wines the area is known for. We found this one on line the night before we arrived and booked...

Situated on the top of a hill surrounded by the typical Tuscan landscape with cypress trees, wine yards and soft hills. The owner is very friendly and did their best to make this a...

Stayed for one night in the beautifulMontalcino area. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner and promptly checked in. Friendly lady who gave us lots of great tips and info before we headed off to our wine tastings. The location, as others have said, is outside of the city but you cannot get around in this...

Not a pleasant experience at all. We were doing a road-trip around the country side of the beautiful Tuscany this Easter. Montalcino was one the most important stops of our trip and we really wanted to spend a night in the rural area of Montalcino to fully enjoy the scents and flavours of the land. On paper Le Ragnaie looks...

Nicely and recently renewed, free wifi, great people and great wine. Right outside the village, relaxing and with an amazing view! Highly recommended either for families, couples or just wine lovers! The cellar is a must to see! Can't wait to go back!

The Hotel is part of an Azienda Agricola which produces the famous Brunello and also some special beers. It´s not close to the city center, but in a 5-minute-drive it´s possible to be at the historical center. Rooms are confortable and spacious. Breakfast is good (country style). Wi-fi works very well and there´s free parking. There´s and outdoor swimming pool...

Nestled atop the hills of Tuscany alongside the historical village of Montalcino one can find Le Ragnaie. Located in the midst of the Brunello wine region Le Ragnaie has a rich history dating back to the 1700’s when early settlers were using the land to hunt and plant crops.
