We, my wife and I, spent a week in this hotel as part of a package coach holiday and all in all it was ok although not outstanding. Our room was on the fourth floor at the rear som although we did not have a lake view we did have a room with dual aspect and views up towards the...

We travelled with Shearings on the 9 day Express Coach holiday and would say it was a good holiday for the price paid. Now having experienced it I would recommend the overnight stay coach option instead of the Express as we missed a lot of scenery on the journey down and it was quite 'painful' having to wake up and...

In October 2016 we arrived early in the morning at around 1-30 am but were not given any refreshments and we were told the following day that there were cold plates of food left for us, that was a lie…we only needed a drink and the room did not have any tea/coffee facilities. 3 couples in our group we put...

I would not rate this hotel as 3*. Having stayed there for 4 nights, I would say that the hotel is large and the staff are friendly but the food is average. I had a single room at the back of the hotel. The shower was terrible. The water pressure was so low that I would have been better just...

I stayed at this hotel as part of a trip organised by Mistral holidays. I did tell Mistral I was a wheelchair user but they did not tell the hotel so initially put in a room with a shower that I could not use. In fact, there are no wheelchair accessible rooms ie with handrails, etc., and only 3 with...

I recently visited the hotel Britannia Excelsior on lake Como Italy. It is a nice area but the hotel let itself down. The room was OK and it has a nice pool on the lake. It is all inclusive and so meal time is like a battlefield. Half the tables are reserved and so empty, which leaves the other half...

Very happy with hotel.Travelled with Shearings. Room clean, nice size. Food fine, plenty of choice. Tables for two or four or six and other tables set up for ten. Staff all very nice. Bar downstairs, busy but always found a seat. Good selection of people from various countries staying, had some good conversations. Reception busy! But dealt with customers very well.

According to our itinerary we would be arriving at the hotel mid morning, we actually arrived at 8.00 a.m. Before arrival at the hotel, which is classed as ‘all inclusive’ we are given a form to fill in detailing all the “extras” we were asked to pay for. Bearing in mind we have never visited this area before, we were...

We knew this was 3* hotel when we booked the package through Rail Discoveries but we were disappointed with a lot of aspects of this hotel. We booked a Lake View room ,and the view was lovely, straight across the lake to Bellagio. The room was spacious and had a fridge ,the bathroom also spacious with shower - no bath...
