My husband and I stayed at Palazzo Ferraioli in the beginning of September as a treat to ourselves to conclude our honeymoon. While the room and views were lovely, our stay was not. When we arrived, we were greeted by stairs upon stairs only to get to the concierge and be told th

We enjoyed our stay, the room was nice & clean. The rooftop was a nice spot for a drink, great view and atmosphere. Breakfast was good. Atrani is a very small town, but hotel location is great, minutes within everything the town has to offer. Nice beach to walk to (cost 15-20 eur

We stayed at Palazzo Ferraioli for three nights in early October and it was fantastic. We had a corner room on the third floor, which was spacious, modern and clean. Our view was stunning - both sea and city. The staff was phenomenal and were there to help us in any way they coul

First negative review I have had to write in our 9 days here. It was such a let down. The roof top was closed because it was windy, one of the reasons we stayed. The manager told us to go to the beach, without telling us we would have to pay 20 euros for a lounger. The whole thin

Dear Mrs.Angela, Thank You for the review. You are telling a lot of uncorrect informations. You booked two different rooms staying at Palazzo Ferraioli for two nights Unfortunatelly the day You came there was a big, unwait storm in all over the Amalfi Coast and the strong wind distroyed everything on our 6 floor solarium. The storm continued the day after with a very strong wind and so, for our Guests security, we decided to close the solarium. On Your check-out day You complained You payed on the beach because our solarium was not accessible. We showed how the wind was blowning on the solarium and all the domages we had,but You don't care Even Your bad decision to use the beach in a so windy day,the owner welcome all Your extras. The total amount was more than You payed for the beach. We can understand You were not happy with the weather but that's something not under Palazzo Ferraioli controll. We hope to welcome again, but pls..... bring sunny weather with You!!!!!

Is cell phone service good within this hotel? Being between the mountains & the sea, I'm unsure, but unfortunately, it's a necessity for me.
Can anyone explain what an 'emotional shower' is as described in the spa brochure? 😂
Something probably got lost in translation.

If you arriving via ferry to Amalfi, how do you get to the hotel? I am traveling alone but have a small rolling suitcase.
It was an easy walk from Atrani through the tunnel to Amalfi and back again, when we went shopping on foot. Be sure to ask directions to the tunnel and avoid the narrow roadside!

Hello, I am very excited to be travelling to Palazzo Ferraioli in a couple of weeks. I would appreciate answers to a couple of questions... 1) How did people commute from the airport to the hotel? 2) How much does it cost to upgrade from a "Classic Diva" room to a "Romance diva panoramica" room? 3) What are good places to visit? 4) What are good places to eat at which are affordable? Thank you!
1. Train from Rome to Salerno. Ferry from Salerno to Amalfi. Walk or taxi from Amalfi to Atrani. Call or email hotel about getting from Amalfi to the hotel and help with your luggage. Do not rent a car. The road on Amalfi Coast is treacherous and you don't need car once there. 2. Not sure. Call or email hotel (their email is listed on bottom of their website's home page). 3. You can't go wrong. It depends on what you like. We like to hike, so we hiked everywhere, using buses or ferry as needed. If you hike, get the Sunflower guide to Amalfi coast. It's great. We also try to stay away from overly populated touristy areas, but Amalfi, Positano, and Ravello are all beautiful and you can get away from heavy crowds by walking. The church in Minori is worth a visit. Many people are not fond of Maiori because much of its old section was lost to flooding in the 60s and replaced with modern apt complexes. But we really liked it, esp. its church and Boardwalk. Also, lots of good food, and a relatively easy gorgeous hike between Maiori and Minori on the path of the lemons. 4. Atrani is chock full of great, affordable restaurants. Our favorites were Savo, Mistral, and Le Arcate (great view).

Is there parking available near the hotel?
There is parking available at the bottom of the steps leading to the hotel. It's a wonderful place. Enjoy.

"Rooms with sea view are worth the extra money! Also, if you have an early flight it's worth paying for the airport transfer (130 euro)."
"Ask for a room 4th floor or above with a view of the water. Worth it!!!"
"beware of the steps!"
