We had the best stay at Eva Rooms and fell in love with Atrani. We stayed in the Blue room which had the most perfect terrace, having breakfast on the terrace was a definite highlight. Pio was very helpful and friendly and we hope we get to stay and enjoy his hospitality again. Atrani itself was a breath of fresh air compared to busy Amalfi, and such a short walk away. We can’t wait to return.
The Amalfi coast is hard to access but once there its a magnificent setting of cliffs, seascapes and Italian culture. It’s 92 steps up to the Eva room, but the view over the bay from the balcony is out of this world. The rooms are super clean, furnished with antiques, and the bathroom is very nice. We were very comfortable. Pío and his Mom are really lovely hosts and are the entryway to a great experience in Atrani and Amalfi, just a few steps away.
This is a great place to visit the Amalfi coastline. Amazing views from the balcony, and only 5 minutes from Amalfi. The restaurants in Atrani are superb and the food is delightful. The ferries run from Amalfi regularly and go in both directions to Salerno and Capri. The gem is Positano which you have to visit. If you go to Sorrento get the sight seeing bus back to Amalfi, you wont forget the journey! Eva Rooms offer everything you need as a B&B with Pio and Mama Magdalena taking good care of everything.
Excellent stay, and amazing view from the balcony. Pio was a very helpful host, and the included breakfast was excellent. The stairs to the apartment can be tricky if you’re not physically able. Driving the area is a nightmare of its own though - don’t suggest trying it, although there is a parkade near the apartment as well.
I stayed at Eva Rooms in June 2019, along with my wife and kid...the host PIO is a wonderful guy very helpful and the location of the property is top notch with a view to die for....10 out of 10...thanks PIO For making our stay memorable...
We were dropped in the square and it took some time to source directions to this accommodation. There were lots of stairs to get to the accommodation and then three sets of stairs within thee accommodation but the view from the balcony was magnificent. We had organised an additional bed which was not provided on arrival and the mother does not speak English so this took a bit to sort out with the host. The mother makes home made croissants for breakfast which is delivered on a trolley to your room, juice, yogurt, fruit, croissants, coffee. Coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge. Bathroom is a good size. Mother is delightful and host friendly and helpful. It is a 10 minute walk from accommodation to Amalfi.
Atrani is calm town situated near Amalfi (5 min walking by road, or 15 min walking through marvelous mountain path). Atrani is the best place to stay in Amalfi coast - because it is near Amalfi town, so calm, have great restaurants (for us even better than Amalfi) and best views. And I can't imagine better place to stay in Atrani than Eva Rooms. So - Eva Rooms is WITHOUT A DOUBT the best place to stay in whole Amalfi coast! What about view? ITS EVEN BETTER, THAN IN PHOTOS!!!! I have no words to tell you. Breakfast was great - fresh croissants exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our breakfast every day with gorgeous views of the sea and city. And not only mornings can be amazing - evenings as well. Grab a bottle of local wine, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto crudo, some tomatoes in the market and relax in your balcony under the stars. It was the highlight of all our trip!…
We loved the Amalfi coast but it is CROWDED! Even in mid-September, we spent our last 2 days at Eva Rooms and it was just what we wanted. Great views, great location (only steps to the beach) and Pio was a great host!
We stayed in the corner room with stunning view of Atrani and the small boat marina. We arrived via the Sitabus from Salerno train station after just finishing a 17 day tour of Italy. We arrived and were greeted by Pio's beautiful mother who gavels a most welcome cold juice treated my husbands injured hand (bag fell on him on Sitabus). The view is simply just the best. The room itself and balcony is very spacious and we bought wine and cheese and olives and enjoyed the view that night. The next day, we were greeted with a very generous breakfast trolled and freshly warmed croissants that were just to die for!!! Pio was so very helpful with information during our stay. When wondering where to stay on the Amalfi Coast, this is the ideal choice. Amalfi is literally a 10 mins stroll through the tunnel. The Sitabus will take you to other places up and down the coast. The ferry was 18 Euro return from Amalfi to Positano. We visited Grotta Emeralda for 15 Euro which was a beautiful view of the coast. We also had a enthusiastic grotto guide that sang loudly. We took the hop on and hop off bus up to Ravello for the day and did a tour of the villa up the top to marvel at the great view. Atrani itself has lovely restaurants as well but it not as touristy. You get the sense of a real authentic italian coastal village. We swam at the beach below. Don't be forced to rent a chair though, there is a private part of the beach that we realised too late!!…
My partner and I stayed at Eva rooms in early September. It was beyond our expectation. Pio and his family took very good care of us. The rooms are large and the balcony looks over the water and Atrani beach (see photos attached) The walk to Amalfi is 5mins max! The balcony is the largest we had during our european holiday and the breakfast every morning is fresh and filling, a great way to start the day. We will definitely stay at Eva rooms again.
