We stayed here for two weeks all inclusive for our honeymoon and it was fantastic. The hotel even gave us champagne, cake and some little bites to celebrate. The hotel staff were very friendly and the waiters were also very nice. We got on very well with Vola (not sure if spelt correctly, apologies), who even gave us some advice on how to keep cool in the heat. Alex at the pool bar was funny, always kept singing Queen songs as he walked past. The waiters were all attentive and made you feel welcome. Zara was so very welcoming and always had a smile on her face, and was lovely. The food was good and there was diversity when it came to lunch and dinner. Breakfast was more or less the same each day but that was to be expected. The hotel is situated just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. It’s not to far from the old town either. We went for plenty of walks around the town during our stay. The pool area is quite small but I would say that the only thing I didn’t like about it was that people would ‘reserve’ a sun lounger with a towel provided by the hotel and go off for a couple of hours, expecting them to be theirs when they came back. I liked how one day, the lifeguard, discarded the towels so that other people could use them. I’ve never understood the concept of reserving sun loungers. You’re either in the pool area or you’re not. I was laid for a couple of hours with two loungers (with towels) in front of me. This couple came in looking for somewhere to sit so I told them to use the aforementioned loungers as no one had been in them for two hours and they rudely got pushed away by this group of people who had just entered the pool area, who said the loungers belonged to them. The hotel staff were helpful with a lot of things. We hired a car to go see some of the island sights and on days we went out, the hotel prepared a packed lunch for us to take with us with some juice and water. On our last day we checked out at 12 noon and weren’t due to be taken to airport until 7pm. We asked about late check out but the hotel staff kindly told us that they have specific rooms to allow us to have showers before leaving the hotel which we thought was brilliant, as we could carry on doing things throughout the day and clean up before departing. We didn’t really involve ourselves with the entertainment at the hotel, as we mostly went for walks in the evening but from what we saw, there was some good talent and the other guests were entertained. We stayed on the top floor of the hotel. The room we stayed in was lovely and spacious and kept clean on a daily basis. The beds were comfortable and the maid was also very nice. Overall, we had a really good stay and would definitely come again. We really couldn’t fault our own experience with the hotel except for the whole ‘reserving’ sun lounger concept. Thank you to the staff for making our stay enjoyable and memorable.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here for 2 weeks all inclusive and found it to be great value and we also enjoyed going out for meals about half the nights. Lovely hotel. Everywhere spotlessly clean. We had a large room with a very private balcony overlooking the pool. We arrived just before midnight to find wine and lovely cake and baklava in our room! A very nice touch! Great food and drinks and lovely pool area. We particularly loved the garden area to the side of the hotel for a lovely evening drink in the sun! As all the reviews say, the staff are all so lovely and friendly and helpful. Fantastic location, 10 minutes walk to the old town or to the shops in the new town or to the harbour! 2 minutes to the gorgeous beach and lots of shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Live music in the bar every night. We usually caught the end of the brilliant D Spot and loved how they went round everyone thanking everyone at the end. Lovely guys. Highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mitsis Petit Palais Rhodes, everything about our stay was perfect from the very moment we walked through the doors. We received a very warm welcome from reception followed by a cold glass of lemonade which was very much appreciated after our long journey. Check in was quick and easy and we went straight to the restaurant for lunch, whilst there we met the most helpful waiters and waitresses, by the end of our holiday we knew many by name and they always went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The food was delicious and the pizza was amazing!! In the main bar staff were great and the evening entertainment was always very enjoyable. The pool area was the best, not only are the facilities great but the bar man Alex and life guard Dimi really set the atmosphere, After many years of working in hotels myself I have never met such a passionate team, Alex made every guest feel special, he knew everyone by name and even remembered their favourite drinks, he always spoke to everyone as friends and his love of music was infectious. You couldn’t help but smile in his company. It’s clear to see that Alex takes his career very seriously and is professionalism is outstanding, Mitsis is very lucky to have someone who makes people want to come back and stay over and over again. Dimi is the best life guard, he and Alex are a solid team and the children love them, I’ve seen little ones tears turn to smiles in seconds with these two around. Finally our rooms were lovely, cleaned every day by the most friendly ladies. We cannot thank you enough for looking after us so well on this holiday, my sister has autism and really struggled being away from home, her anxiety was through the roof. This really limited what activities we could do outside of the hotel, but due to the kindness and over all wonderful care of all the staff at this hotel we enjoyed every moment of our stay. You’ll never know how much that means to us, Thank you.

We have just returned after 10 nights at the Mitsis Petis Palais. I have scored a 4 as very good but just a few tweaks and this would have been a 5 excellent. This hotel is recommended for its central location, the excellent food and for the majority of the staff who are very pleasant. The pool area is small but beautiful and we were always able to get a lounger, thanks to the other guests not unnecessarily saving beds when not there. The pool barman, Alex, and the life guard live to please the guests. They made our holiday enjoyable. The lady bar tender in the daytime was so very kind and attentive. The many staff in the restaurant including the chefs were friendly and attentive without fail. The food was what stands out with this hotel, it was excellent and something for everyone. A proper pizza oven and pizza chef! Who was also very friendly! The cleanliness of the room was excellent. All in all the hotel is consistent and well ran. A couple of things to be aware of…the hotel doesn’t have lots to do for small children. The entertainment was great for a small hotel and I would say aimed at adults. There isn’t a gym. You can use the gym across the road at the sister hotel but there is a €9 each charge for 1 hour. The hun isn’t great either. You can however attend the exercise classes but I didn’t find this out until the next to last day. The bar men in the evening are not friendly and don’t serve in turn which causes frustration. A few others had mentioned this to us whilst we were there. It’s a shame as all the other staff are so very friendly. One of the bar men upset me one evening which spoilt that particular evening. My final comment is in relation to the reception. The receptionists themselves are friendly as people however there is a lack of customer service in terms of the culture. We booked and paid a premium for a suite. We arrived very late and we’re presented with a room with no balcony and no separate room for our 17 year old daughter, far from ideal. The room was dark, small and didn’t represent the pictures on the hotels website. The hotel did rectify this the morning after and the room then presented was excellent and as expected from the website. It did taint our first morning and I did feel the need to complain and be a frustrated customer to get this sorted. I expressed on day 1 that we were checking out late and given the inconvenience of being given the wrong room initially, that a late checkout would remediate the issue. Although I mentioned this a couple of times during our stay the room was not available for late check out. We were offered another room for a few hours but it was less than we were expecting from the initial conversation. Due to the last 2 paragraphs, this is why the rating is a 4 and not a 5. I would still recommend it his hotel as the bar men can be ignored (if you’re pre warned to this effect) and I wouldn’t expect the wrong room being a common occurrence. Oh and remember to ask for your mini bar to be refilled as this didn’t automatically happen!

We are big fans of Mitsis hotels, so were excited to be able to book an all-inclusive holiday at one within our budget during the school summer holidays. Everyone works so hard in Mitsis Petit Palais to look after their guests. The hotel is situated in Rhodes town, very close to the beach and within easy walking distance of the harbour, Medieval town and modern shops. Although the hotel was very busy, we never felt that it was overcrowded. The reception and front of house staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, as were a number of the the restaurant and housekeeping staff. The bars were efficiently run and a lifeguard was on pool duty all the time we stayed. Although we thought we'd booked a different room to the one we were put in (possibly misled by the pictures on the Loveholidays site) we settled in nicely. It was good to have a balcony to sit out on to watch the sunset across the sea and town. We opted for all-inclusive as we were travelling with 3 young people who are over 18 and were only staying for 5 days. There was a good choice of European and Mediterranean cuisine in the restaurant. Some times were busier than others, but it was nice to be able to sit outside, or in the conservatory area to eat meals. This hotel is in the centre of town, so you won't be overlooking the beach when you eat your dinner. We spent a few evenings in the bar area, playing cards. We sampled a few drinks off the bar menu. I think if we'd stayed longer, we'd have gone out a little more as the nightlife in the area seemed lively and buzzing. Some people have criticised the pool area in other reviews. We found the pool to be great. The water was warm enough, there were sun loungers available and a constant supply of fresh towels. There was also plenty of sun up to late afternoon and a lovely bar The pool is not huge and is also very deep at one end, but there is also a much smaller pool which small children can go into. The area is kept very clean. I liked the pool area, although most sun worshippers would probably opt to go to the beach. This was our first visit to Rhodes. I hope that we'll return and explore a little further. Thank you to all the staff at Mitsis Petit Palais for providing us with a great first trip to Rhodes.
