On arrival they said that they were full due to a guest not being able to leave as they had a sick child. They wanted to send us to another hotel but we had chosen this hotel specifically due to it's location to the bus station as we had an early flight the next day. We have read about hotels...

We stayed at Lydia with 3 young children and stayed in the family room on the top floor (4th). Apart from having to carry bags up the last floor from the lift and the usual Greek attention to building code, this is the place to stay with a family. There is a lounge room outside the actuall room, one inside,...

My wife and I arrived on Rhodes from Lipsi after a 6 hour catamaran journey. We were tired, hot and very sweaty. The welcome at the Lydia could not have been better nor could the immediate service when there was a problem with the air con. The room was comfortable and beautifully clean as was the bathroom. The soundproofing on...

We tried to walk to this location because based on the response from the hotel we were informed it wasn't far, but apparently they must have been thinking about another port of entry because it was 45 minutes from where the overnight ferry from Santorini brought us in. The lobby way was beautiful and they served a huge breakfast. They...

Lydia hotel plu is the hotel staff always very kind and available to listen. Rooms are not so big and we always had electricity issues during the days we stayed there: one day fridge was not working, the other bed lamps and maintenance didn't have clue on what was the problem. Generally the hotel is in the center of Rhodes...

We stayed there for a few nights. We had made the reservation through booking.com The photos of the hotel rooms seemed nice but when we got there we saw another reality. The room was very small as well as the bathroom. Our room had no view and at night in the balcony there were alot of cockroaches!!! Thank god there...

When you walk into the Lobby of the Lydia Hotel, you could mistake the Hotel for a 4 to 5 star accomodation. The Lobby, The Bar, The computer room & the Dining area are all very clean, modern & comfortable. But the hallways were dark & dingy, without light or air conditioning. We had booked for 3 adults - we...

Hotel Lydia is located in between the town beach and the Old Town. Very easily accessible with supermarkets, high street shops and souvenir stores aplenty.  Rooms are of a decent size but the additional bed had a huge metal bar in the middle which was most uncomfortable. The beds had no blankets, you had to help yourself to the blankets...
