I have visited Archontiko Petra’s with my friend and loved the time we spent at this amazing house. Mary was very amazingly friendly and helpful. She made us feel as we are in our own home. The breakfast was great and Mary done it all by herself. It was a very friendly environment and the Hotel was very clean. I ll go back definitely. 🙏💕
Beautiful property tucked away in a centrally located street walking distance to town and beaches. Great bakery for bread and coffee next door, and a close walk to many delicious restaurants and a variety of shops. The rooms are a nice size, with many accommodations (robes, slippers, outlet plugs, towels) and very clean. The breakfast food was expansive each morning, with many local options made fresh daily. Marie prepared the breakfast each morning, and took extra time to ensure she explained the local foods and that we tried all the freshest food options. She was also able to make us eggs to order each morning and provided fresh squeezed orange juice. Marie helped us with our laundry and told us about the best local restaurants. Overall, she was very careful to ensure we were having a wonderful time. She made us feel at home and we looked forward to her morning breakfasts each day! Highly recommend Archontiko Petras!…
A beautiful, quiet and very charming place in the small alleys of Petra, Lesvos. It is five minutes walk from the beach, so there is no noice from the beach road and the restaurants. (Only noise is the rooster next door in the morning). Small, cosy garden with a pet turtle :) The rooms are cosy and clean, and the staff are very nice. The only reason I give four stars, and not five, is that the bed was hard like rock. But some like it that way, my back definately didn't. :)
I wanted to feel at home, walk in the village, sleep in perfect conditions and take home made breakfast made specially for my whenever I walk up. I wanted a garden and a view to the Rock with the Church on it. I wanted to have the sea, cafes and restaurants at a ten minute walk from my room. I reserved the second floor suite and got it all. I will definitely come back.
We stayed in Hotel Archontiko Petras in July 2015 as 2 family with kids. Hotel was just like a dream home for us with very well decorated and comfortable rooms, shared living area, beautiful garden and terrace, good location (like 10 min walk from the beach, it was just a pleasure to walk on beautiful streets). There was a wonderful breakfast every morning prepared by the amazing lady who didn't speak english but clever and good hearted enough to understand and help for everything we asked for. We couldn't enjoy more.
Very nice, authentic guesthouse (only few rooms) , superb breakfast and lovely people.Furnitures, house itself make you feel like you are staying at one of your friend's house. Nice living room and breakfast in the garden or inside make you meet the other guests. Our daughter liked the hamac in the terrace. We definitely recommend if you also not prefer big hotels. This is more like "you feel the history". Rooms are big enough. Nice bathroom, too. Close the Petra beach (3-4 min. walking) Also quite / old area. Petra center 5 min. walk. There is bakery and mini market just near. There is nothing we can say negative about this place. We wanted to stay in their other hotel Prygos of Mitillini (in Mythillini town) but there was no room. It could be also good choise if you want to stay in Mythillini town.…
Especially the room Sappho is perfect. We are amazed with their hospitality. You feel comfortable when you stay in that old Greek house, it smells history.Their breakfast is perfect. Thanks to Angeliki
We were supposed to stay at our time share hotel, but instead the owners had us stay here since the other hotel wasn't open yet. Therefore I can't comment on price. It's a five minute walk from the beach. The house is beautiful! The breakfast is amazing! It's a full breakfast - most days we didn't eat a full lunch after such a big breakfast. The rooms are clean, and the owners are the nicest people. Since we don't speak Greek, the owner called our taxis for us and arranged for us to rent a car. She also invited us to visit their other hotel when it opened at the end of our stay, which was also beautiful.
