Avoid if you have the choice. Only one positive point..... Its clean and they have swimming pool. But such an unfriendly place. Very poor breakfast in this beautiful and gastronomic place. The owners are soooo unpleasant. A eviter si vous cherchez un gite sympa et de la bonne chère.

Whilst the rooms here are clean and the hotel's setting magical, this is unfortunately countered by the attitude of the owners. They clearly don't want to be hoteliers which makes for a terribly unwelcoming atmosphere. I am glad we only stayed here one night! 4pm check in time is also kind of ridiculous. I really would not advise anyone to...

Extremely unwelcomming manager. As informed on booking.com 1 child younger than 2 can stay without fee in the room. As we arrived (2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby) for our booked 3 person room we where informed that we could not stay 4 people in the room and we had to stay in 2 separate rooms at a very...

Other comments are relevant. What a terrible owner, French at its worst..... The bedrooms are tiny and uncomfortable, the breakfast is....?...a joke, all this for 100 euros... I doubt this hotel really owns 3 stars, I didn't see the official plate for the French star rating. But, the park is great, and so is the swimming-pool. So consider going ONLY...

Just bringing the reviews up to date having stayed here only two nights ago. Grumpy grumpy owner, alleviated only a little by hard pressed female associate. Didn't eat there (see below for comments on Breil's eateries) so can't say about food. Pool 'closes' (why?) at 7pm, despite wonderful evening sunshine. Breakfast dismal. Interior decor hideous even by French standards. Room...

I used to stay here regularly, and found that it was pure Basil Fawlty with a french accent. He used to have a good chef, but he has probably left. The lady is-was- his young wife. When I last saw his child, he was about 2, and my wife said-in french-what a nice little boy,is he yours? The response was, why?...

We discovered this hotel just en route as we wanted to sleep somewhere and stayed one night. Our experience was better than described in other reviews. We liked the area and the swimmingpool. We could order a dinner without pre-booking and even my son who does not like vegetables had no problems here. The lady ( probably the owner )...

The setting is very nice, with the swimming pool and a forest area, but the owners were awful! We were told we couldn't have dinner at the restaurant, since we haven't pre-booked it. Also when we asked if we could at least have some drinks there after dinner out - we were told no :( The breakfast was worth about...

Hotel itself is fine in a pretty setting, though a bit out of the lovely town. A wonderful part of France - very beautiful. Sister/wife of proprietor tries hard to make it pleasant, but that is the problem - the manager. The tour company declined to book us into this hotel as they said they'd had bad feedback about the...
