We travelled from Australia with our 3 children (7, 8 and 10) to spend 5 weeks in Costa Rica. Our hope was that CR would offer beautiful, uncrowded beaches with great surf, food and an "off the beaten track" experience. We were not disappointed. Our first destination was Casa Cecilia for 6 nights & we knew we'd found the perfect...

If you would like to get up close and personal with the ocean stay here! This house has the best spot on the beach, you walk right out your door to the white sand and amazing surf of Santa Teresa. The staff is personable, they make a great breakfast, and help with any arrangements you may need. I frequent the...

I have stayed in Santa Theresa many times and this is by far the best all around hotel. Great spot on the beach, affordable, comfortable, far enough from the hustle and bustle, monkeys in the trees, hammocks on the beach, great restaurants near by. What more could you want? The staff is so friendly and helpful and Don is very...

We have visited Casa Cecilia more times than I can count, why, because it has everything we could wish for! The hotel is so close to the beach that you can check out the surf from your bed, it is small so you can meet all the other like minded people who choose to stay there, the rooms are clean, comfy...

We found Casa Cecilia by walking the beach and we were lucky there was a cancellation, so we could stay for 5 nights. This B&B is a perfect mix between a hotel and a hostel. It gives you the social contacts you normally have in hostel, but the comfort of an hotel, including nice breakfast. The location is outstanding: one...

I stayed at Casa Cecilia for 8 nights on my own just after Christmas. This property offers everything you would want for a relaxing and amazing holiday. I stayed in the villa just behind the main building and it was fantastic. Clean and open with an outdoor full kitchen and shower nestled in the forest. It was just steps away...

My mom and I went to Costa Rica and Panama for about three weeks, and this was our favorite town/place to stay during our entire trip. The manager was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was in a perfect location - right on the beach and just out of the main town. There was great surfing and delicious breakfast...

This is a bed and breakfast. We live in costa Rica and we'll definitely come back. The view is amazing; right on one of the prettiest beaches in C.R., and to add to that, it's in an uncrowded area. Lots of hammocks and chairs to relax in. Lots of beautiful shade trees if you need the shade. Clear, clean water...
